Great Family Ski Vacation Home

This is a beautifully decorated townhome 1.5 miles from the entrance to Beaver Creek, 3 miles from main ski lift. 2 families, 4 adults and 6 kids, stayed very comfortably here for 6 nights. Walmart (with groceries) and liquor store are just 1/2 mile, and the restaurants, shops and grocery store in Avon are only 1.5 miles. Vail is 5 miles.

Garage has been converted to a ski mud room with racks and boot driers, very convenient. Ample parking outside for 2-4 vehicles. Kids loved playing/sledding in the snow outside the townhome, and enjoyed the hot tub. Home is right on Eagle River, beautiful setting. Kitchen is fully stocked, you don't need to bring any dishes or utensils from home. Beds are very comfortable with warm goose down comforters. Propane gas grill on the deck if you want to grill out. The unit is 3 stories. Upstairs is the master with king bed and large bathroom, and a 2nd bedroom with full size bunk beds and a queen bed. Main floor is the kitchen, dining and living area, plus the garage/mud room. Downstairs has a 2nd living area (allowing parents to relax upstairs while kids play down), 2nd master with king bed but small bathroom, and another bedroom with a large bed. 2 small washers and dryers, one set on 3rd floor and one on 1st floor. Convenient.

Beaver Creek has limited parking at the mountaintop, so it's expensive. You can park any time up there for up to 2 hours for free, so that makes it easy to drop off ski school kids in the morning and then go back down to pick up your spouse. The main parking lots, called Bear Lots, are at the base of the mountain just a half mile west of the main Beaver Creek entrance gate. You park there and take the shuttle buses to the top. They run every 10 minutes and are not the hassle we expected. Parking down there is free vs. $33 a day up top.

BC has a tubing hill and bungie jumping trampolines available for charges from $15 to $30. If you rent skis from Beaver Creek Sports, you can store them overnight up there for free. If not, you can pay $6/night to store skis and poles right next to the main Centennial ski lift. Kids in ski school get free storage of skis and boards. Ski school is excellent by the way.

The owner is wonderful, great communicator and sincerely wants your stay to be excellent.

Luxury Home, Great Location and Great Value!

My family of four rented this mountain town home with another family of five while we were in the area for a sporting event that combined multiple mountain towns. We were so impressed and happily suprised! We have rented many times in Copper, in Winter Park and in Beaver Creek and this home was a wonderful, easy access location to get to all the places we wanted to go - Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek Biking, Skiing, kids activities and then back home. The fully stocked gourmet kitchen, well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of space for our two families, several fireplaces and flat screen televisions as well as the amazing sound of the river outside, made this a great place to stay. The home was clean, cozy and easy to get into and out of. We would highly recommend it.
