We had the pleasure to again stay at this Villa for about two and a half weeks in November (we had previously stayed there in April). We were delighted to find that several trees in front of the Villa had been topped since our last stay, taking what was already a gorgeous view and turning it into an absolutely panoramic and stunning one! Again the owner was extremely easy to work with, accomodating and responsive. We had a little bit of a bug problem one night (this is the jungle after all) but by the next morning the bug guy was there with a non toxic spray that resolved the issue for the rest of our stay. Again the Villa was super clean and comfortable!
I'm not sure about the previous reviewer's complaints. While it is in a subdivision this Villa has a greenbelt to both sides which provides ample privacy - and is a regular path for white faced monkeys. If you are out on the patio at sunrise or a bit before sunset you will see monkeys just feet away from you. The community is guard gated and patrolled so you feel extremely safe - and the road to the Villa is short and well kept (especially given the majority of mountain roads you will find in Costa Rica). We had good strong internet connection for the entire time we were there - strong enough that I was able to use WiFi calling back to the states - and the internet connection continued to function even when the Villa lost power for a few minutes during a storm due to the owner's back up batteries. The pool, like everything else, was clean - with the pool guy coming once a day to clean the pool and sweep the patio!
The Villa is walking distance to beautiful Dominicalito beach, and just minutes away from Dominical with its restaurants, market and bank. We have been to Costa Rica over a dozen times and stayed in multiple hotels, Villas, etc - and this is by far our favorite place.
