We loved staying at this unique home on the Chesapeake Bay. It’s a wonderful combination of contrasts—dramatic but intimate, modern yet comfy, sophisticated while surrounded by nature. Just walking down the path to the house among the tall grasses and flowers carried us miles away from the hustle and bustle of our every-day life. We spent hours in the pool, cooking with friends, eating al fresco, watching the sun set, kayaking in the cove, driving to St. Michaels for ice-cream, walking to Lowes Wharf for live music and a drink, picking up fresh baked goods at the Tilghman Island Country Store. We just loved every aspect of the house, the area, and Angela's help.
In fact, we loved the house so much that we recently bought it. Now we hope others will be able to enjoy our home as much as we loved it as renters last summer.
Other fun activities we have enjoyed when staying at Europa: taking a sunset sail on the Lady Patty (anchored just 5 minutes from the house), getting fresh local seafood at Big Al's in St. Michaels, having high-tea at the Inn at Perry Cabin, exploring the Maritime Museum, eating fresh steamed crabs at the Crab Claw, celebrating a special occasion at Theo's, satisfying our children's pizza craving's at Ava's and enjoying a delicious green bean and prosciutto salad ourselves ... and so much more.
