My family so enjoyed our stay at the Villa! The home was clean, spacious and well-supplied with all we needed. With such a full schedule @ the Orlando parks, our only regret was not having enough time to enjoy the home! Regardless, the adults usually went for an early morning swim and the teenagers often visited the pool in the evening. The 15-20 minute drive (depending on the park) was as expected: we much prefer to escape the bustle of Orlando. And this house is a lovely escape--not right on top of any major road and overlooking open fields & trees. Also, the neighbors' homes were not too close like some of the developments we passed, and the landscaping gave the pool/yard area delicious privacy. A real tonic after the crush of park crowds! The owners are delightful: quick to respond to questions and very helpful. The packet about the home and area let us know everything we needed. We needn't look for any other place to stay in the Orlando area--we've found our vacation home! For reference: our family reunion included four adults and three teenagers from three families. We visited Disney, Epcot, Universal and Discovery Cove. All were convenient from the home (and Discovery Cove--our main attraction--is not to be missed!). We either ate at the parks or cooked at the house, but we did order in our first night. The owners have many catering restaurant's brochures to look through. The Publix supermarket is close by for supplies. If you've not done self-catering before, be sure to allow plenty of time on your day of arrival to settle in, go food shopping, etc.
