My husband and I went there for Valentine day and President’s day weekend. And we couldn’t think of better place for this occasion.
After our busy (rather crazy) life in New York, this place was a real asylum for us. We read all review, but what we got was even better. It was like you came home, your home. You can feel the aura of the house: warm, friendly, relaxing – just welcoming. What can be better than spend a romantic evening in front of the fireplace (wood provided for free) on a cozy sofa or recliner with your loved one and glass of wine?
The owner thought about every detail in the kitchen, bathrooms, living room. We were coming there after a series of snowstorms, so she called management to warn about our stay and by the time of our arrival the road to the house and parking place for the car were already cleaned! Snow mountains on the side were 2-3 feet, so they would be impassable. Originally we thought about going to the skiing area, but after all we decided to stay inside. It was so nice that we didn’t want to go out (other than for dinner). The closest restaurant Jubilee is 5 min away and is also very nice.
And I can only support Michael S.’ in his words about the owner because it was exactly ours experience:
She called us when she received our payments, promptly sent payment receipts, and even followed up with a phone call when we arrived at the house to make sure all our questions were answered.
We are looking forward to get there in summer and after I read Lynn’s review, we may try some early fall stay. I would highly recommend this place (though it would create a competition among renters :))
