This home had a great configuration for our group of several families. Most of the bedrooms are on the floor lower than the living space, which was perfect for when the kids were ready to go to sleep. The top floor had wide, open living space between the kitchen, living and eating area, just as the pictures show. Also, the pool was wonderful - lots of sun in the afternoon and was serviced during our stay!
Things to know more on the down-side-- the beach isn't as assessable as it looks - you have to walk down the street a block or so, then across the boardwalk. (This isn't a big deal unless you are carrying beach gear for 3 5 year olds, then it's a pain). The second upstairs bedroom is more like an office with a bed in it, without closets and would share a shower with the upstairs master bedroom. There were A LOT of Palmetto Bugs (look it up if you don't know what that compares to - ewww), and "The Bug Lady" (who came promptly) that services all of SGI says she gets a lot of calls about this house. In fairness, it is a more natural beach setting - but just be prepared. We did not use the outdoor kitchen space because they had taken over. There were also several in the house and the elevator even after extra attention from the pest control service. Finally, the couches in the main living area were deceptively uncomfortable. That's a bit nit-picky, but was noticeable enough to make an impression.
Overall, I would recommend this house for a big group because of its space an layout. Just be prepared to be a bit laid-back about the natural setting.
