Our family of 4 got home yesterday from staying at this quaint, very nice beach house. the house is right-smack on the gulf of Mexico and is perfect if you want to relax, see beautiful sunsets and experience a slow-down vacation. We fished right off the beach...caught a few but did not matter. we found over 100 shark's teeth over the week as well as many other beautiful shells. the water is surreal...green-blue and was the perfect temperature for kayaking or swimming. we were fortunate enough to have the owners stay in the upper unit..we stayed in unit 45A which is on ground level. I cannot emphasize enough how nice, accommodating and attentive to our needs Catherine and Jay (the owners) were. we left feeling that we had made friends. Our family tried many of the local restaurants and had good/excellent food in each. To top it all off...we got a knock on our back door the last night there...it was the owners and they wanted us to see a female sea-turtle laying her eggs...on the beach right behind the house...amazing! a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Come to Englewood and stay here...you will not be disappointed.
Thanx Jay and Catherine
