Located on a quiet street in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond District, our cheery, bright, 2BR/1B vacation property offers comfortable accommodations. Just six blocks north of Golden Gate Park, the Inner Richmond is located in the northwest corner of San Francisco, California, with the Presidio and Lincoln Park to the north and Ocean Beach and the Pacific Ocean to the west. The Presidio, Baker Beach and the Legion of Honor museums are just a short drive or bus ride away.

Your family can enjoy some of the best sightseeing in the city at Golden Gate Park, including the Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden, the National AIDS Memorial Grove, the Conservatory of Flowers, the San Francisco Botanical Garden at the Strybing Arboretum, the MH de Young Museum of Art and the Japanese Tea Garden. Recreational activities include walking, hiking, jogging, rollerblading, biking, tennis, archery, horseshoes, basketball, fly casting, golf, handball, lawn bowling. Visitors can rent paddleboats and other small craft to use on Stowe Lake.

A few blocks away, the Presidio National Park offers spectacular views of the city and Golden Gate Bridge with quiet, woodsy trails for walking, jogging, hiking, and biking. Active guests can enjoy the recreation activities at the beautiful Presidio Golf Course, tennis at Rossi Park, a swimming pool and a newly renovated playground.

The University of San Francisco and the University of California San Francisco are nearby, as is the California Pacific Medical Center. Also within walking distance is Laurel Village, a small shopping district with restaurants, upscale boutiques and a high-end grocery store. Just one block away is Clement Street, a smaller, less-expensive version of Chinatown replete with cafes, shopping and restaurants.

Although there is free street parking in our residential neighborhood, just around the corner are 10 convenient public transportation routes to anywhere in San Francisco. Several of the bus lines connect directly to the San Francisco Cable Cars and a few lines go directly to Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf and Downtown San Francisco.

You can't always be out exploring the city, so we provide a wide range of indoor activities, including Comcast Wi-Fi, the Dish Network Satellite TV, with Digital Video Recorder capabilities and a 42'' LCD Flat Screen Television and a 32' LCD in the master bedroom.

The kids can enjoy playing video games on the Xbox while the adults enjoy more than 50,000 free streaming movies from Netflix in front of the gas fireplace - or the other way around!

Location is everything!

Rick: We enjoyed this house very much. Able to catch a local Muni line (about 30 seconds away) or a downtown express on Geary (3 blocks away). Being able to park and not have to move was wonderful. We could drive or ride depending on our wants. We were never more than 30 minutes (that is Half Moon Bay) away from anything. The house was great. Tons of great food nearby. Ultra safe at night, never worried about our evening walks. The place is exactly as shown in the photos. Will recommend this to all our friends who come to SF for vacations. Loved being able to bring the dog. She loved lying in the sun in the front room. Summary: A great place, clean, orderly, great location and a wonderful owner. Again thanks for helping make our visit to our daughter and son-in-law one for the record books. See you again next year!

We all - 3 children (8, 10, 12) and 2 adults- had the best time staying in this calm, spacious, clean and convenient home! The owners were kind, efficient and helpful. The location of the home was perfect for walks to major attractions (Academy of Sciences , DeYoung museum, Golden Gate Park) , as well as for local dining and shopping. The neighborhood was safe. The parking was a big bonus. We will definitely return to this house and to this city! It was a great holiday with our children! THANK YOU!

Excellent vacation rental

This house is centrally located in a safe area near many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The parking space was definately convenient!. It was easy for us to get to the USF Campus, Golden Gate Park and GG Bridge,Union Square, the beach, and all other tourist attractions. It was fully furnished complete with new linens, towels, and all kitchen utensils. We enjoyed the extra ammenities like the X Box, DVD player, and washer and dryer. The welcome basket full of goodies and California /SF area maps were added touches that made us feel welcomed. Thank you Rick for making our trip such a pleasure! We highly recommend this house to anyone visiting SF!

We had a wonderful time in San Francisco. The house was very clean and comfy. The owner was so kind to leave maps and restaurant information. It was so conveniently located we walked to many places for delicious meals. We will definately stay again.

I want to go back!

Incredible neighborhood.Very comfortable and cozy home. It was 2 blocks to the Presidio of SF where we went to the New Disney Museum and Crissy Field to take a wonderful walk along the ocean and see the Golden Gate Bridge. 5 blocks from Golden Gate Park where we Went to the new Steinhart Aquarium and the wonderful DeYoung Museum. We went out the door and walked one block to the Clement Street area in the Richmond District which has lots to see.
Owner was so very helpful with what to see and do. The home was so clean and everything we needed was there. Very comfortable home. It looks exactly like in the photos but better in person. I would definately recommend this vacation home to my friends.Bring a coat and sweater because it was a little windy but the sun was out the whole time. We were expecting lots of fog but it was lovely in San Francisco.Restaurants everywhere. We wanted a great close get away. We live in Northern Calfiornia and wanted to site-see in the city and didn't want to stay at an expensive hotel .
