Permits: Our home has a Bedford County septic permit for 5 bedrooms therefore allowing us to sleep 10 people over the age of 2 (under the age of 2 does not have to be counted). We have also had our home inspected by Bedford County for the correct number of fire alarms, carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers. Therefore we have met the requirements set by Bedford County to allow short term rentals in our home.
