Private eastshore lakefront setting on 2 acres with magnificent mountain and lake views. Spectacular sunsets seen from this newly renovated house. Large deck overlooking 170 feet of private lake frontage and dock. Swimming area off the beach near the boat dock. Three queen beds (one is fold out), one double and two twin beds. Terraced flower gardens to beach and potted flowering annuals on the deck watered with an automatic sprinkler system. Large lawn area completes the setting. House is furnished and decorated for your comfort and enjoyment. High speed internet access and satellite TV are provided. Canoe is available for the more adventuresome (life jackets provided and required). Glacier National Park is 45 minutes away. Bigfork is 9 miles north, complete with gourmet restaurants, galleries, gift and clothing shops, and an award-winning summer playhouse. Woods Bay is 4 miles north with boat launch, marina and restaurants. Well behaved pets are welcome.

We started coming here many years ago after my father died and my mother had to give up the lake house. Once again, it has been a place where our faqmily have gathered-laughed-played-swam-eaten well & loved eachother well. The weather was great-some rain & some storms. The osprey were very busy! Thank you again! With my family so spread out-this place brings us together & brings us all here at least for one week a year! We will be back next year!!The Smiths, the Helds, the Johnsons & the Vissers

This guest book is a great idea. Hello from the McDougalls from Vail, Colorado. We have spent almost 2 weeks here at your Sunset House and have had a wonderful time. We came to Flathead Lake 7 years ago in August 1996 for our honeymoon. We returned in July 2001, July 2002 and now with our daughter Madeline (now 3 1/2). We are leaving tomarrow for our trek back to Vail..we look forward to returning to beautiful Montana next summer. Thanks! Your flowers are beautiful!

During my stay in Montana, I hiked at Logan Pass in Glacier National Park. When I saw all the snow covered mountains I was so excited, but by the end of the hike I was cold, tired and wet. Once we got to the board walk the view of Hidden Lake and the huge peeks brightened me up, because it was so breathtaking. Also in Glacier we went horseback riding. My horse's named was Harley. The trail was great. the views were beautiful, and we saw a large black bear, he was about fifty yards from the trail.I met some of Erica's friends. Dani & Krista. Dani & Krista slept over one night and we went go cart racing. I passed everyone except Krista. I'd have to say my favorite part of Montana was Bigfork and Flathead Lake.Sara Maliki, age 10

We had a great time jet skiing, boating, suntanning and drinking Moose Drool! Kurt, Molly, Johnny, Becky, Russ, Jenn, Lucy, Jack, Scott, Mardy & Zoe! We had a great time with the Knells up the way. We've all gained 5 pounds each and are starting our fast tomarrow morning. We hope to be back next year! Can't wait!

Another beautiful, sunny day on Flathead Lake and we must leave for many destinations. It's been an activity filled vacation--3 canoes and a kayak for water sports. Swimming, fishing, huckleberry picking, renewing friendship with Mary Jo in Bigfork. Sometimes 13 at the dinner table. Brain & Tami announced their intention to marry-before or after Brian finishes his dissertation. A week of high spirits, much laughter, storytelling, and love. We look forward to a return visit.

Grandma TOB (Tough Old Bird) & her brood are here again at this beautiful house. The children were here & wonderful! This year we rented jet skiis 2 times a had a GREAT TIME!! Brian, son of Grandma TOB, played guitar and we sang old folk songs. Had so much fun. See you next year!Sarah Held (age 16)

Well we came back for another week at this beautiful house! We celebrated my grandma Dorothy's 75th birthday with 10 family members & had lots of fun. We went over to our Uncle & Aunt's lake house over in Big Arm & rode in the motor boat & went tubing. We also played a lot of cards & when we worked up enough nerve (or just got hot enough) jumped into the lake. That cold water sure does wake you up! But anyway the week was so much fun & a great vacation! Happy 75th birthday Grandma T.O.B.! I love you!Sarah Held, 15 years old

July 18-25, 1999Thank you Jewell Family for having such a 'jewel' of a place to stay in. The weather was perfect and the sunsets magnificent. My family couldn't have been luckier to have found this spot in that we used to come up to Flathead Lake each summer to stay with my grandparents. My fondest memories growing up was spending time on the lake. I'm thrilled to say after an 8 yearlap in not coming to Montana that our first voyage for our two sons age 5 & 7, have made them as much a fan of Big Sky Country as their mother has been. We can't wait to come back!Thanks for a special place to relive and make some new Montana memories. Sue, Peter, Ryan & Chris Collins
