Costa Rica Rich,Upon realization that the “hospital” listed as your landmark on the directions is in fact the looming brown building overreaching all else by around 200 feet, stress fades and gates are opened into the oasis that is Casa Rector. The nicest, most efficient family greets you as you are transported from the dusty roads of Puntarenas, to this lush, inviting sanctuary. Don’t forget to shake hands with Bruno, the beautiful German Shepherd, as he will be your guard dog, and treat you as his own. The driveway takes you to the house and you can’t help but be intrigued by the gorgeous Costa Rican foliage that is like no other. A breezeway is your portal into the oasis. Bigger than most urban backyards, the pool is the first thing you see and it takes your breath away. The rest of the property is a lush field enclosed by a private wall making the at least acre-long yard completely yours. And at the far end, the Pacific Ocean beaches. The house consists of 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and sleeps up to 16 comfortably. After you’ve made your way through the supermercado purchasing fresh fruit and groceries while imbibing all that is local Costa Rican life, relax by the pool as food is prepared and the property is taken care of for only an additional 20 dollars per day. Even though this house is located in the heart of a civilian town, staying up late into the night is no problem as the properties are large and because of this you won’t bother your neighbors and they won’t bother you! The breeze blows through the palm trees as you relax in the hand-woven hammocks listening to the ocean and the brilliant parrots residing within the property and you realize you’ve picked the ideal vacation spot. Were bringing the kids next year!Much love,Scott , tadimdia , Michael , Pat , Chris , Chris , Emily , Emmery , Mandy , Matt , Monica , Ed , Stephany , Kerry, Mark & Ahktar
