'Can't say enough about this home and location! Anita’s hospitality began even before we arrived. We called her from the airport and told her we would be stopping for supper on the way from Phoenix. She suggested the perfect place as a welcome to the southwest! The Road Runner Steak House in New River was just off the highway and a great place to unwind after a long flight. Then on to Cottonwood……. Wow! This home was even better than we expected! Gorgeous and spacious sums it up! Anita greeted us with fresh baked brownies. Fresh roses were on the table from the beautiful rose bushes that adorn this property. The home is inviting, well maintained and beyond comfortable. We stayed a week while visiting Sedona, Jerome, Cottonwood and The Grand Canyon. What a great location! Sedona is just a short scenic drive and The Grand Canyon is an easy day trip. It was so nice to come 'home' to a quiet, spacious, peaceful abode after a busy day of sightseeing. We were able to prepare meals in the well equipped, spacious kitchen and eat on the private, gorgeous patio while watching the horses graze in the adjoining field. If that wasn't enough to keep us spell bound and entertained we could watch the graceful Herons that were nesting in the nearby trees! There are two living rooms so us girls could plan our next day’s activities in one while the guys watched TV from comfy overstuffed furniture in the other room. This was a vacation of a lifetime. Don’t hesitate. (The Verde Railroad scenic ride through the valley should not be missed as well as the numerous State Parks. Don’t miss Slide Rock State Park and the Indian Ruins at Montezuma’s Castle) .'

Grand Canyon Visitors! Treat yourself to this gracious and elegant home in the tall trees and abundant greenery a block away from the Verde River. Close to the famous Red Rocks of Sedona (15 mi.), this quiet and pastoral home gives you access to numerous sightseeing adventures in Sedona while providing the peace of a rural setting to come home to. Wake to birds chirping and horses grazing in the back pasture. See blue herons winging south to their rookery, and colorful sunsets painting the sky and Mingus Mountain. Or explore the red rocks formations, visit the ghost town of Jerome, hike to the Native American ruins such as Tuzigoot and Montezuma’s Well, ride the Verde Canyon train, enjoy fishing at Dead Horse Ranch State Park, or drive through beautiful Oak Creek Canyon – you’ll be centrally located for it all.

Home was in need of cleaning, repair and maintenance.
Owner's Response: I am truly sorry that there was an unknown plumbing leak in the master bathroom shower. If I had been notified of the problem then I would have been able to get it repaired immediately. Finding the soaked carpet right after my renters left with no notification of a problem two days in the making was not OK. It also cost more with overtime fees, but it's fixed now.

We spent my partner Colleen's 50th Birthday there. The place was perfectly located for trips to Jerome, Sedona, Flagstaff & of course Las Vegas where we celebrated Colleen's 50th. Sadly to say we did not make the Grand Canyon due to heavy snow in Flagstaff. We had more room than we ever needed, It was great to have all the comforts of home - away from home. Very peaceful sitting on the veranda in the morning, listening to the roosters crowing and in the evening watching the sunset falling on the mountains.
ANITA, We cannot thank you enough for all of your help & letting us share your lovely home!!!!.

01/03/2010 Excellent location and beautiful home. We used it as a base to go hiking in Sedona, shopping in Jerome, awesome morning runs in the nearby State Park, skiing in Flagstaff, and taking the Verde Canyon Railroad. Great wineries nearby for touring. Anita was gracious and helpful. Her restaurant recommendations are spot on.
Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

We loved the neighborhood with all the beautiful mature trees and took
walks every morning. We walked Riverfront Park and the Jail Trail. We
enjoyed the fireplace and spacious kitchen and your lovely home. We
celebrated a sister's birthday at Nick's and had a great time. We
walked downtown and spent an hour at the Hippie Emporium and at
Orion's Bakery. Great house for our sisters get together! Nice and
quiet and room enough for us all. We would like to come back again.
Thank you, Mary Ann and sisters

The property was just what we needed, there was plenty of space for me and my two sisters, we enjoyed the early morning views and the brids singing outside our rooms. The property was just as it had been discriped the locations was easy to find and the layout was perfect for us. This berutiful thee bed room home was clean and well-maintained and Anita was more than helpful and willing to help us make the best of our stay. During our stay the attractions were many keeping us busy for the entire week. One stop you must make is to Orianes Bakery on in downtown cottonwood as well as Nic's dinne inn restanant right down the street.

Thanks Antia will tell all my friends were to stay when visiting AZ.
