In contrast to other nearby resorts, Makena Surf is a tranquil oasis of tropical seclusion that offers resort living in a low-density, low-rise, and less crowded ambiance.

There is really no setting like that of G301/G302 at Makena Surf. Perched directly over the ocean and the beach, it offers mind-blowing panoramic beach and ocean front vistas. Far quieter than most busy resorts, this is one of Maui’s best kept secrets, with direct access to a picturesque, uncrowded sandy swimming beach known for it’s abundance of tropical fish and gentle sea turtles. Makena Surf Resort has direct access to two sandy swimming beaches, two heated swimming pools, two hot tubs, 4 tennis courts, and lush tropical foliage and flowers.
Visitors to Makena Surf often comment how uncrowded and spacious the beach is. Many small tidepools are perfect for curious children. Dip your head under water during winter season and you may hear whale song!
