Having rented many houses in the past we have found that whilst factual descriptions may be correct the actual experience can fall short of expectation, this is not the case with this property the description does not do it justice and I would say it compares favourably with five star hotel standard. It was immaculately clean and well presented the owners met us on arrival and could not have been more helpful, everything necessary was clearly explained by them and there was a good information pack in the house. We would happily return here and highly recommend it to anyone.
The layout of the house gives a central living area on the ground floor and two separate bedroom areas, upstairs two double rooms and a twin all with en suite bathrooms and downstairs a master double room with walk-in dressing room and large en suite bathroom, adjacent there is another bedroom with twin beds and a dual sofa bed, this gives a useful split to the accommodation, and was ideal for us as a large family with older and younger children, it should also suit sharers. The house is on a corner plot and because of the site layout is not overlooked, although it is semi-detached you are hardly aware of this because it is stepped back and the rear terrace is higher than the adjacent house. The position of the pool also gives a feeling of seclusion and privacy.
We stayed here without a car and found this easily possible. After using faro airport transfers minibus, booked online 110 euro return for up to eight people, We used taxis for traveling locally, to Villa Real which is where the large intermarche supermarket is and from where you can get the ferry to Ayamonte, Spain. Also to get to and from MonteGordo the nearby town although it is possible to walk there in about twenty minutes which we did on some occasions. Taxis are easily available, coming to the house by telephone booking and from the central rank if in the town, cost for four in a standard car about 5 euro to town and about 10 to the supermarket. There is a small shop with cafe a couple of minutes walk away and two restaurants on the nearby beach so no need to travel far at all some days.
The nearby beach is excellent and not crowded there are parasol/sunbeds for rent and a small number of pedalos, the restaurant has a daytime cafe and coffee shop but overall it is not too commercialised here, more extensive facilities, Jet skis and kite surfing, are about a twenty minute walk away along the beach.

Casa Elouise - Eastern Algarve

We enjoyed a fantastic holiday in Casa Elouise, the villa exceeded our expectations it was beautifully furnished with an excellent layout and lovely atmosphere in a quiet area. Everything was clean and in first class order, with great cooking facilities and lots of space and a fantastic large pool. The lovely sandy beach was just a short 4 min walk perfect for evening strolls, there are beach restaurants and Monte Gordo is just 15 min walk along the beach or 5 min drive. The supermarket was also only 5 min drive. We would love to holiday here again in the future, the owners were very helpful and friendly we cannot recommend it enough.

Schöne Villa sehr gute Lage

Von Andrew und Else wie immer perfekt eingewiesen und über alles wesentliche informiert konnten wir 10 herrliche Urlaubstage in Casa Elouise verbringen. Die Küche war perfekt ausgerüstet, insbesonders der Aussenbereich mit Grill wurde von uns fast jeden Abend benutzt. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre die Hellhörigkeit der Villa ansich, wie auch zu dem angrenzenden Nachbarhaus.
Bäckerei ca. 400 Meter entfernt und sehr gut. Zum Strand etwa 500 Meter und im November menschenleer.
Jederzeit für Familien die Ruhe suchen zu empfehlen.

très beau séjour en Algarve

Nous avons été charmé par cette villa et ses propriétaires! La maison est spacieuse et sachant que nous étions une grande famille, chacun a trouvé son espace, des grands-parents aux petits enfants! La proximité de la plage et des commodités a rendu notre séjour très agréable. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse et l' accueil d'Andrew et Else, que ce soit lors de la reservation par messages interposés ou sur place a notre arrivée.
Les 10 locataires sont unanimes, et recommandent vivement cette location!

Super vakantiehuis !

Wij verbleven pas met 2 gezinnen (11 volwassenen) in dit super-de-luxe vakantiehuis dat voorzien is van alle comfort die je je kan wensen ! Het is erg ruim, goed onderhouden en proper. Het heeft een groot (overdekt) terras, een mooi en ruim zwembad en voldoende plaats rond het zwembad om te zonnen.
Het ligt op wandelafstand van het strand waar een restaurantje ligt waar je lekker kan eten. De plaatselijke bakker ligt op enkele minuutjes wandelen en heeft lekkere broodjes en croissants. In het lokale café naast de bakker krijg je voor een halve euro (!) een glas wijn en voor 90 cent (!) een flesje bier van 33 cl.
De eigenaars zijn erg vriendelijk en geven je graag tips om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Wij kunnen niks bedenken dat ons is tegengevallen aan deze woning en zouden het zeker aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een mooie woning in een rustige omgeving.

Passamos uma excelente semana, apesar do mau tempo que se fez sentir para quem ía à procura de um "pequeno bronze".
Fomos muito bem acolhidos à chegada por um simpático casal, que mostrou ter como preocupação o nosso bem estar mostrando-se totalmente dísponivel para o que fosse preciso.
A descriçao feita da moradia e as fotografias expostas correspondiam ao real. A casa é espaçosa, confortável, tem uma piscina muito agradável e permite pelo seu espaço o convivio agradável para doze pessoas.
A sua localização é fantástica pela proximidade da praia permitindo fazer o percurso a pé, mesmo que se tenha crianças pequenas. Por outro lado existe uma parte florestal também muito próxima, muito simpática para passear.
Recomendámos a estadia neste imóvel, com garantia de umas férias agradáveis

Foram mais umas férias numa casa espectacular, em que só temos a dizer bem da casa em si mas também não podemos esquecer os proprietários, Andrew e Else Derrick, que como sempre foram incansáveis para nos prestarem um serviço exemplar. Por fim, recomendamos esta casa a todas as pessoas que gostem de passar umas férias descansadas, relativamente longe de confusões, mas ao mesmo tempo perto de tudo!!!
