Great house in a great neighborhood.
This house was terrific, in a great location, has great views, nice patio with a bbq, and was very comfortable in all ways. Very accessible to the Seattle area, but felt safer than many Seattle neighborhoods. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The property was beautiful and perfect for our time in Seattle. Before getting there, it was very easy to communicate with Lynn. She got back to us right away, answered our questions and kind.
The location was ideal, quaint neighborhood, beautiful view, out of the hustle and bustle of downtown but still close to everything. Proximity to the University of Washington was a priority for us. With Albertson's and Whole Foods down the street it was very easy.
The design and amenities of the house were fantastic. It was as if Lynn and the designers anticipated every need the vacation renter could possibly want. A welcome book (with great recommendations...We loved Luigi's down the street, definitely a gem), BBQ, convenient laundry area with detergent ready to go, recycling bags, games and much much more. I wish we time to make use of the tennis rackets at the park.
Our daughter loved the basement room with the wonderful couch and huge tv.
The only thing that could've made it better would be STAYING LONGER. We will be back for sure!

Gorgeous house, fabulous neighborhood!
I chose this place based on the view, and while there is a nice view of the bay through the trees, that wasn't the thing we loved the most about this beautiful rental. We adored the neighborhood, the helpful owner, and the gorgeous house itself.
First, the neighborhood. It's in Magnolia, right near downtown. A 2-minute walk places you at the bus stop, and the bus will whisk you to the Space Needle in 8 minutes flat. Sooo easy. The neighborhood around the house is charming and vibrant, with gorgeous retro-style houses that likely cost about $1 million dollars each. There's a city park down the hill and Magnolia Village is only 1/2 mile away, with lots of great restaurants, drug stores, groceries and etc. Easy parking, easy to get to.
The owner went out of her way to help us enjoy our stay, giving suggestions for restaurants (at her recommendation, I had the best Greek food I've ever eaten in my whole life - for $15). When she heard we were looking for ideas about what to see in Seattle, she created a whole kid-centric list of activities - something you might expect from a travel agent or concierge, not from the owner of a house rental! But Lynn is wonderful.
The house itself is both luxurious, and comfy. It has clearly been remodeled from top to bottom, and all the careful details of the decor, from the elegant sinks and showers to the hardwood floor and appliances, just make this beautiful house glow.
Our two children, ages 4 and 6, loved having their own bedrooms on the main floor, and we parents loved having our own basement 'suite' complete with home theater and spa-style bathroom. The kitchen is gorgeous, there's a laundry room with brand-new appliances on the main floor, and not one, but TWO dinner tables - one formal in the dining room, the other in the kitchen with the view.
This is the kind of house you hate to leave, and kind of wish you could live in for the rest of your life.

Perfect place to spend 4th of July weekend!
This home was clean, beautiful and comfortable, the photos don't do it justice! It is much more spacious then I expected and has all the amenities you would want to have while away from home. I was impressed that the home even had a rice cooker/veggie steamer!
My wife and four year old son enjoyed watching the 4th of July fireworks from the back patio, we also walked down to the park during the firework shows and watched West Seattle light up the sky! It was wonderful because we wanted a relaxing Independence Day instead of all the trouble and traffic trying to go have an exciting day. Although it wouldn't have been that difficult to go somewhere to watch a larger fireworks display as the home is very close to downtown.
