'Cottage in the Forest'

This beautiful little cottage is tucked into a small forest, with a view of the Hanalei Mountains. Where you will awaken each morning to the symphony of sounds and sights of a peaceful rural mountain setting.

Our three and a half Acre Property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, and just a few steps across the property brings you to a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains and Kalihiwai River Valley.

Enjoy the endlessly fascinating interaction and play of the resident birds and animals. Chickens, Ducks, Peacocks, Goats, Dogs, Cats and Horses, all co-exist on our property and provide hours of entertainment.

All this is only a five minute drive to beautiful Kalihiwai Bay, where Kalihiwai River enters the ocean. It is our favorite beach, great for boogie boarding and surfing. Also a five minute drive takes you to Anini Beach, a very long beach with a double reef, where you can spend your days:

Best honeymoom we ever could have dreamed up. Coming home to this place was our favorite part of the day. And we don't know how we're going to face life without an outdoor shower... Thanks for the use of this perfect little cottage.

This was such a wonderful, beautiful experience! We felt tucked away in the beauty of Kaua'i - comfy & cozy - the tub was my favorite! Tony enjoyed his morning run in this gorgeous neighborhood. We even saw Ben Stiller on his afternoon run! Ha! Susan & Kim - it was such a pleasure to meet you and your puppy dogs!

We can't describe the peacefulness of waking in the morning & hearing the birds singing and feeling the gentle breezes - Wow! But, the best is getting to see all the aminals! Your place is beautiful and decorated so tastefully. What a treat for us!

We absolutely loved staying at your wonderful cottage this week! It is very charming - you thought of every little detail that a visitor may want or need. We got a big kick out of all of the animals. The bathtub was perfect to use at the end of the day - the outdoor shower was a treat, too! Kaua'i is a magnificent place. We hiked all over the island...We really think you picked the best spot on the island to live...We are sad to leave! Thank you for making our 10th anniversary so special.
