“I’d never stay anywhere else on the Kona Coast after staying here”.

“We never had to leave except to get food.”

'This was the vacation of a lifetime'.

It's a given that a Vacation Rental must be great - and this one is. But along with this beautiful home comes a feeling and lifestyle that just can't be duplicated.

Located on 2 acres at 1100 feet, just off the upper highway on a private road lined with coffee trees. This retreat is a cool alternative to the heat, humidity and traffic of town, yet it’s only 10 minutes from the Alii Drive beaches, the Keauhou resorts, golf, shopping and the restaurants in Kailua-Kona town. The airport is only 20 minutes away.

Upstairs is open beam with 20’ ceilings. It has a kitchen that’s gourmet all the way; ready to use – just add food. The great room has a dining and entertainment area with a large flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo; also a hideaway bed. It empties out onto a very large lanai with a 180 degree view of the Pacific. Also upstairs is a huge master suite, another flat screen TV, with access to the same lanai; and has views of the ocean from the king size bed. The master bath has a large soaking tub with separate shower and dual vanity.

Downstairs are 2 queen bedrooms that empty onto the lower lanai – same view as upstairs, and each has a TV. The 4th bedroom is setup for kids with 2 twin beds and a TV / DVD player. Also downstairs are 2 bathrooms and a large game room with a wet bar, pool table, flat screen TV and stereo. For added convenience, there’s a fully equipped laundry room.

The lower lanai has a gas barbeque, and down a few steps from the lanai is the pool and spa – more stunning views while you soak, swim or have a few drinks – the wet bar is only seconds away.

Finally, the yard has a large sweeping lawn. Avocado, lemon and mango trees abound; you’ll have had your fill of guacamole by the time you leave.

Wireless internet access and local phone service are available. Bring work with you and do it from the lanai – many have extended their stay just because of that.

Like your own beautiful home - you'll never want to leave.

Quiet, perfect views, perfect temperatures. Convenient to beaches, resorts, golf, town shopping & restaurants, and the airport. Away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists crowds.

All the benefits of the Kona Coast without the heat and traffic; and only 20 minutes from the airport. Located at 1100 feet, this property stays 5-10 degrees cooler than the beach area. Wake up to cool mornings and go to sleep with warm sunsets. Hit a wedge from the driveway and your golf ball will still be on the property. Pick avocados and make fresh guacamole each day. View the cruise ships in Kailua Bay while sitting in the spa.

Newlyweds on our Honeymoon

Upon arriving we felt like the King and Queen. Your castle suited us perfectly, set back and peaceful.
A very romantic place to start our lives together. This is our first trip to this island and already feel as if we need to return and we have not left yet. We picked fruit, had meals on the decks, soaked away our stress in the jacuzzi, cooled our thoughts in your pool. Tanned in the sun and listened to all the wonderful sounds around us. As we rate this place A+ we did miss having plush robes to wear as we have at all our other homes, oh and a griddle for pancakes.

You can count on us returning to this AWESOME home away from home. When we first opened this house, it was beyond our expectation. We really felt rich, and we couldn't believe what we saw. This house is better than the hotel. Our family would definitely want to come back to this house next year. Hale Kawika had everything that we needed to accommodate us on this whole week family fun. We didn't have to go anywhere for entertainment. The kids were beyond happy with the pool, jacuzzi, the pool table and the big screen TVs in every room. Of all the vacation rentals that we have stayed in the past years, Hale Kawika is far beyond the BEST ever. Our family is sad to lave this home, but we will definitely be back. Mahalo!

That 16 hour journey long forgotten when you enter this wonderful home. Here with family and friends to celebrate my 50th Birthday. Our first time in Hawaii and enjoyed every minute of this tranquil island.
The sightseeing was amazing from walking through the Rainforest/botanical gardens and the volcanoes to the historical Pearl Harbor and the busy Waikiki beach of course a "little" shopping. Jennifer and Herb made us feel at home. Wonderful mangoes, avos, papayas and lime to make fresh lemonade also the coffee that perfumes the air. Must not forget our early morning swim, relaxing in the jacuzzi then basking around the pool. Your home, Kona, Hawaii truly beautiful and thank you for an unforgettable & memorable holiday. A pleasure to return to your lovely home; our Kona hacienda. We enjoy the peacefulness and the view. We returned to our favorite restaurants; Jacie Ray's and Bongo Bens and added two new ones; Java Java and Lemongrass Bistro. We learned about Jackson's Chameleons and have been searching to find one every chance we get. Such a lovely island. We will continue to return to Paradise. Mahalo!

What a fabulous house! Amazing design, beautiful furniture, great space and more comfort than home! Finished our Hawaiian vacation with one week in Kona. The weather did not cooperate every day so it was wonderful to have this house to "hang out" in. Plenty of space to "get away" or "be together" for grandparents, kids and grandkids. Mahalo.

Aloha. This was a perfect way to spend holidays with our extended family. Close enough to enjoy each other, private enough to enjoy our space. The house is lovely and very convenient. We enjoyed every moment. Thanks.

What a way to end our trip to the islands! We enjoyed your home with lemons for fresh lemonade and avocados for guacamole. We had fun cooking dinner together and then enjoying the spa in the evening! Your home was perfect for our group of friends. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Great 2 weeks! The house is lovely and very comfortable. The kids loved the pool and spa and they had a great time collecting avocados and lemons. After 50 years Hawaii still feels like home to me. You can take the girl out of the islands but you can't take the islands...! Two mysteries: what is the beeping sound we hear in the upper level and why does the rooster crow at 3:45am instead of sunrise?
