This beautiful, elegantly and very sympathetically refurbished 1st Floor Apartment, offers everything you could want to make your stay in Edinburgh just perfect. The apartment still has original Georgian fireplaces and beautiful cornicing all shown off perfectly by the light streaming through the large Georgian windows.
There is a spacious hall - off which is
: the kitchen/dining which is bright and sunny and well equipped. Off the kitchen is a fully equipped utility room with washing machine, drier and freezer.
: a large double bedroom.
: a lounge with large comfortable leather couch and leather chairs. There is also a large flat screened TV with DVD player.
: Bathroom with bath/shower.
: Twin bedded room with en suite shower.

Due to Cumberland Street being relatively narrow, it is very quiet with very little traffic making it the perfect location for resting after a hectic day in the city.

What a wonderful experience! Everything from the booking, the payment, the correspondance went smoothly. The apartment itself is on a nice quiet street with an easy 20 min walk to the Royal Mile. The amenities, the comfort and the furnishings were above my expectations. If I get the opportunity to adventure to Edinburgh again, I will definatily stay here again. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

The apartment was just beautiful and had everything we could have asked for. My parents and I were more than pleased when we arrived. Di And Wattie made everything so easy and provided the utmost in service. The location of the flat couldn't have been better either. We were just a short walk to the shops and major attractions that Edinburgh has to offer . Next time I am in town I will definately look to stay here again.

What an excellent place to stay! Wattie and Di are great to work with and very nice! The flat was very clean and well appointed, perfect for our needs. Shops were nearby if we needed anything. Very easy walk to Princes Street - we did it every day! If we come back th Edinburgh, we'll definately stay here again!

This flat is really really ideal; location is good; easy to get to the
castle/royal mile district; yet in more
of a quiet area. There is a great
pub just down the street. The owners
have left wonderful information in the
unit to find fun spots to eat and drink. The flat is newly remodeled, super clean, quiet. Since the location
is in a neighborhood you have the experience that you actually live there. We highly recommend it!!
P.S. if you love hot baths; it has a
wonderful bathtub!!

Comment Text: A truly atractive flat! We enjoyed spending time with our daughter and her mate with the luxury of two bedrooms, beautiful living room and a well appointed kitchen. Hosts were very gracious in leaving notes of nearby pubs, restaurants and attractions. It made our stay in Edinbrough very memorable.

This was a great choice for my family. My husband and I along with my college age daughter were visiting our other daughter studying at the University of Edinburgh. There was space for all of us and the location was wonderful. It was homey and warm. The kitchen was well equipted and the bathrooms modern. I would definitely recommend staying here.
