4 Bedrooms, 1 full bath, sleeps 8, plus full-size crib

Beautiful country setting on 10 acres down a quarter mile lane with no visible neighbors! The property is surrounded by farm fields and forest. The house is a restored 200+ year old stone farmhouse with original random-width hardwood floors throughout. Master bedroom has a queen bed, second bedroom has a queen-size bed, third bedroom has a full/double-size bed and a full-size crib, and the fourth bedroom has twin-size bunk beds.

Perfect for a quiet romantic get away or a fun family vacation where the kids can run and play outside with no danger of passing cars. Enough space for a wedding or a family reunion out on the lawn!

Great location close to Lancaster County/Amish attractions, Dutch Wonderland, outlet shopping, 20+ museums, hot-air balloon rides, Strasburg Railroad and the list goes on.

Need a break from your busy life?: Find yourself listening to the birds and the crickets as you relax in a rocking chair on the front porch overlooking an expanse of green lawn and trees.

No neighbors, no buildings, no traffic - just peace and quiet for you to savor.

Lancaster County Amish Country: Perfect location to check out all the local Amish attractions and enjoy the drive through the rolling farmland to get there! The property is very private, yet is only 15 minutes from the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Shop local businesses selling quilts, antiques, hand-made furniture and countless farm stands to get all the fresh produce you can eat!

30 minutes to Dutch Wonderland, Lancaster Outlet Shopping, American Music Theatre, Sight & Sound Theatre, Strasburg Railroad, Reading Outlet Shopping and so much more.

1 hour, 15 minutes to Hershey Park and Chocolate World.

1 hour to Philadelphia.

Two parks within two minutes of the property: Historic Poole Forge is a township owned park with a great children's playground, pavilion and picnic benches for a cookout, and a 150 year old historic covered bridge that you can drive though and is great for photos with you and your family!

Just up the hill from our home is a county owned park called Money Rocks that has an easy 30-minute hike to the top of the mountain for a gorgeous view of the scenic countryside.

I spent an amaze weekend here in second week of Aug and it was very pleasant. It was very picturesque in the summer, I found the house to be very spacious and homely - it did not appear as a typical summer-fall rental, just very comfortable and relaxing for all family members.

The owner is very kind and professional person. My little brother forgot his cell phone there. The owner found it after we leave the place, so she sends the phone to us with an express mail.

I would highly recommend this vacation spot.

A Magical Escape - Like renting a whole park!!!

We were so lucky to find this wonderful vacation rental home. It was just what our weary souls needed...peace, quiet, solitude and beauty. Staying in this historic home, we felt we had stepped back to simpler times, yet with all the modern conveniences. Out little girls were simply delighted by the grounds. Lush lawns that strech forever, we truly felt like we had our own private park. The playground was super fun for all of us and wait until you see the giant sandbox, magically hidden under the branches of a huge magnolia tree. We had plans to eat out, but once we arrived we knew we would dine on the front porch each evening. Deer grazing in the distance, fireflies glowing each night...what more could we ask for. We especailly appreciated having a proper full size crib available for our baby, and our 5 year old debated each night whether she should sleep in the top or bottom bunk bed! The drive to Dutch Wonderland is pretty short, and very beautiful. Just two miles away is an amazing Grocery - Shady Maple, which has the best deli / take out section I've seen. All in all, pure delight. Thank you to our gracious hosts.

My friend and I stayed at this home this past weekend. The home more than met our expectations. Starting from the moment we walked in to be greeted by a vase of the lovely flowers and meal ticket. Every room is so nice and neat and you feel like your in someone's home and not a rental. We definitely plan on staying there again.

We had a nice, relaxing weekend. The house is beautiful; we hope to own one just like it someday (sooner rather than later!). Thanks and take care. Heather

We loved the house and had a very peaceful perfect Holiday. You have done a beautiful job on the restoration. Simple, beautiful, cozy, comfortable -- yet the house still feels a bit rustic and has great character. You don't usually expect an old house to be so flooded with natural light but all those windows really make it special. As you can tell, we really enjoyed it. Thank you also for the little holiday touches. It all helped make our stay very pleasant. I'll definitely recommend your place to anyone I know looking for a nice retreat.
Happy New Year, Mary

We had a wonderful time in your house and in your county, loved the house and the garden with the playground for the kids !!
Thanks again for all the precious information you gave me. We went to Shady Maple, to the Amish farmhouse in Lancaster (very very interesting) and to the lovely city of Lancaster.
