We have just completed updating the cottage with a new bed, new flooring, new kitchen table and a new sofa. Property is located right on Lake Winnisquam with a panoramic view. Enjoy the tranquility and at the same time the beautiful water and beach front right at your steps. Includes dock for your boat. We have kayaks @ paddle boats for rent by the week - please inquire regarding rates. We are minutes from all activities in the lakes region: golf courses, miniature golf, shopping, antique stores, hiking & biking trails at Gunstock, Funspot & Weirs Beach as well as many fine restaurants. Fall activities include apple picking, mountain biking & the Zip Line at Gunstock as well as the beautiful foilage in all of New Hampshire.
The property consists of this cottage as well as another cottage, see listing #164866, shown in the background of the first picture, and the owner's residence to the right, as shown in the first picture. Rent both cottages for an extended family vacation.

Very clean, very hot, very small.
There is not much privacy here, especially with an additional cottage right behind the one we stayed at - probably about 150 feet behind. The dock is shared, and we were glad the others did not rent a boat otherwise it would have been tough docking both on there. The beach is shared between the owners and the two cottages, again, not much privacy. If you like your privacy, this isn't the place for you.
The interior of the cottage was very well kept and very clean and nicely decorated. It is an open floor plan with a king size bed. The bed itself isn't very comfortable, but I liked the size of it. The couch wasn't that comfortable either, the middle cushion sinks in making it strange to sit on. It is a pull out bed, but that's not comfortable either. The TV gets bad reception and the WIFI didn't work on our new laptop. It is a very nice place, but make sure you have other things to do besides stay in the cottage. The owners are very nice and helpful, and they have very friendly dogs which we liked.
The lake is great. The fishing was OK, we didn't find a prime spot until our last day with the boat, and no, I will not give that secret spot away! The water is clean and the fish taste great.
Overall we had an average stay. Air conditioning would have made it much better.
The shared dock for both cottages has adequate room for two boats, 1 on either side, so that too would not have been a problem.

A Great Location on Lake Winnesquam
The owners are very nice and they don't bother you. We recommend this to couples as well as families with small children. We hope to rent this place again in Summer 2009
