Our family of 8 adults thoroughly enjoyed our week at Cool Mountain Cottage. It possesses every amenity required for a comfortable stay in the mountains. (The wireless internet was great!) The owners are very accomodating and professional, the house is welcoming, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed daily runs with beautiful mountain vistas, No Conway's quaint shopping area (only 2 miles away), tubing in the Saco River, hiking, picnics and a trip to the top of Mt Washington. Perfect for a casual getaway to enjoy quality time with your family. We prepared meals together, played board games till the wee hours and loved rocking in the rocking chairs on the front porch overlooking Cathedral Ledge. The location is fantastic for taking in all of the areas sights, but the house itself is great for just staying in as well. Highly recommend it.

Great Vacation in The White Moutains

This very clean comfortable cottage was just great. the beds where lux the kitchen had all the equipment to make meals. We ate on the porch almost every night and made a fire in the fireplace in the morning.
Cool Mountain cottage is close to every major attarction in the White Mountain Vally. We took day trips to Franconia and Crawford notchs and swam in the Swift River, Echo Lake and Diana's Baths.
I have already recommeded the cottage to friends and am looking forward to my next visit in the not too distant future.

We had the best time at this cottage. It was stocked with everything we needed for a a comfortable stay. The place was spotless upon arrival. The screened porch is delightful and we enjoyed family gatherings there. Lots to see and do in the area and the location of the cottage is very convenient to shopping, dining and recreation. Our dog loved it too!

A beautiful retreat nestled right in the mountains.
A cozy atmosphere, plenty of room, great kitchen and living area, lots of fun games. All of the necessities, and plenty of fresh, clean linens/towels. We lacked for nothing!
We lived on the great wraparound porch....a beautiful sight in the morning, overlooking the mountains.The fresh baked, fudgy brownies left for us were a welcome treat as well.

Great family retreat/vacation

Our family’s reunion/retreat at Cool Mountain Cottage was perfect…and so was the home! The cottage surpassed my expectations; cozy, aesthetically pleasing, spotless, comfortable, excellently stocked with quality amenities. We loved the big central fireplace, rocking chairs on the porch and homemade quilts on every bed. Interactions with the owners were smooth, timely and professional. We enjoyed relaxing at the cottage with my parents, sibling and kids, cooking gourmet meals, eating with a view and exploring some of the local outdoor attraction. I highly recommend hiking to Arethusa Falls via Bemis Brook, jumping into Emerald Pool in the Maine woods and observing or trying some rock climbing on Cathedral Ledge. Oh and don’t forget the great shopping and strawberry picking in North Conway. Loved the place and all it had to offer and I will recommend this special spot to friends.

Cool Mountain Cottage

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Cool Mountain Cottage. The house was clean, comfortable and very roomy. The front porch was fabulous with a great view of the mountains. We were happy to be able to bring our dog who enjoyed the complimentary dog bed and biscuits. The location was very convenient and close to the outlets, Storyland and other local amenities. The owners were nice and we will definitley be returning for another visit sometime. We would highly recommend the Cool Mountain Cottage.

We stayed for 3 days, which was not enough time. The cottage is beautiful, very comfortable and high quality. The best part of the day is to sit on the screened-in porch in the early mornings. I saw a mother bear and 3 cubs one morning while I was there. The cottage is also close enough to some major attractions, so if you are not the "relax and enjoy the quiet" type, you will find lots of stuff to do.

Welcoming Beautiful Peaceful Cozy Perfect

We live in NH and were looking for a special place for a quiet weekend. We found it (and everything else we could have asked for) at this beautiful cottage. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel welcomed and at home. The kitchen was stocked with all the extras (even fresh baked goods and fabulous coffee). The beds were equally colorful and comfortable and rivaled any luxury five-star hotel. The bathrooms were stocked with an endless supply of quality towels and all the amenities we could have hoped for. The colors, decorating touches and beautiful furnishings made us feel grateful that the owners are sharing their lovely cottage. Sitting by the fire, looking out at the twinkling lights so perfectly placed on the porch, we knew we would definitely be visiting this perfect little vacation cottage again.

A cottage that truely exceeded our expectations!

We wanted this to be a special weekend and the cottage was an incredible place to spend it! The pictures looked great on the website so we had high expectations. Upon our arrival we realized that this place was even better. The owners went out of there way to make us comfortable, welcomed and well equipped. This was by far our best rental experience ever. We are recommending it to all of our friends and hope to return this summer.

Relaxing Family Cottage

I would recommend this cozy vacation cottage to anyone who has children and pets. My family loves to visit Cool Mountain cottage because everything and anything you can think of is there, a functional kitchen, laundry facility, dog biscuits and games for the whole family to enjoy. Julie and Tom make the house feel welcoming from the time you step onto the large screened in porch. There is always a note mentioning happenings or places of interest as well as local restaurants. The cottage is centrally located. We truly feel that it's a home away from home.
