CAPTIVA PALMS is a luxurious home offered for rental in the recently finished development of Sabal Harbour, situated in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. The house is designed and furnished with comfort and relaxation in mind. The southerly facing patio and pool afford some spectacular sunrise and sunsets and also overlook a small lake, and wildlife reserve where an abundance of native wildlife resides. The villa is furnished and decorated to a high standard and the pool, lawns and plants are tended weekly to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. Air conditioning is standard throughout.Ceiling fans in all rooms except the bathrooms. There are 32' HD TVs connected to Verizon FIOS HD Premium, Sports and Films in lounge and master bedroom. All US and CANADIAN phone calls and access to the internet is available via a wireless hub are FREE. The villa has two double bedrooms, the master has a 6 foot wide bed with en suite facilities and two double bedrooms adjacent to the second bathroom.

We have just returned from a fabulous 10 days at this property. I cannot recommend it enough. The accommodation was excellent with 4 good bedrooms including a sumptuous Main Bedroom/Bed & en suite. The pool was a great plus.
Location wise you could be on the beach instead for more money, but as it is placed in a nice quiet neighborhood close to Route 70 & 1 mile from the I-75 you can get anywhere you would want to go quickly & easily. With Wal-Mart etc within the same short distance everything is to hand.
The beaches at Anna Maria Island are a short easy drive & are simply stunning. The fishing rods in the Garage make a visit to Rod & Reel pier on Ann Maria a must ($2 a day to fish). Siesta Key @ Sarasota an easy drive too. 2 hours to Disney where to be honest you could do a stopover in a Hotel for peanuts.
The owner was highly attentive calling after booking, before we left & after. Great guy!
Book it & you should not be disappointed. I am not a friend or relative just bigging it up, just very happy with our choice :-)

The house and area are everything as advertised. It is comfortable, clean and tidy. At the beginning of the holiday there was an intermittant problem with the air conditioning, which as the temperature was 89F was important. To alieviate the problem there were ceiling fans to help. However, it is the mark of a good owner and agent that all the stops were pulled out and the problem was fixed with minimum fuss and with due dispatch. This left us to enjoy the holiday, whilst Martin, the agent, and the A/C company did the worrying. If I decide in the future to return to that area of Floria, I would have no hesitation in booking this house again.

Beautiful Home - Ideal Location

We had a wonderful time - so much to do in the area.
Disney not too far, Sea World, etc., Busch Gardens, loads of things for the kids. Alligator Farm close - great entertainment for all. Ringling Museum and St. Armands Circle in Sarasota a must visit.
My daughter, her husband and our 10 year old grandkids had a great time in the pool! Very relaxing and so much room. We would definitely love to come back.

Paul's villa provided us with exactly what we were looking for; a quiet, clean and comfortable base for shopping, eating, sightseeing or just relaxing by the pool. The villa has all the amenities advertised including the pool which proved to be very welcome on those days where we just sunbathed in the very hot sunshine. An added bonus was the wildlife visible from the rear of the villa.
Paul contacted us before we left, when we were there and when we returned to the UK, clearly showing his desire to make sure that everything was "just so" for our holiday - it certainly was. I would have no hesitation in returning to this villa in the future and would certainly recommend it to other holiday makers.

Holiday review Christmas new Year 2010

We stayed at this property for 10 days over the New Year period of 2010. The house is within a nice quiet housing estate. Access to the house is easy from main road network. It is also within easy travel to what we think to be beautiful beaches. There were six people in the party ranging from teenagers to pensioners the house was suited for all and equipped with all we needed to eat in and also close for local American style restaurants. Shopping outlets and nature reserves within 30 minutes, Orlando between 90 and 120 minutes.
The house was clean and the owner was comunitive before we left the UK and also whilst we were at the property, they also checked we got back safely.
We would recommend this property it fulfilled all our expectations.

just perfect

we stayed at captiva palms for 20 days and could have done with 20 more . the house location is excellent to all your needs on holiday ,near walmart open 24/7 .closeby the post office , nail bar , macdonalds ,maceys and one of the largest outlet shopping malls !(which I made full use of ). A 15-20 min drive to a gorgeous beach and a 15 min drive to sarasota and all that has to offer .its under an hour to get to busch gardens and the salvador dali museum in st petersberg. We have a wheelchair dependent child and even though the house is not classed a s wheelchair accessible ,it suited our needs perfectly and the wheelchair was easily manouvered .The property was extremly clean and tastefully decorated. We would highly recommend this property to anybody as it has everything you might need for your holiday and paul the owner gives a very personalised service throughtout the whole experience of booking and staying at the property .

Our best holiday yet in Florida!

After spending our previous three trips in Orlando, we decided to 'head south'. Right from our initial enquiry on the villa, I found Paul extrememly helpful with real sense that he was keen to ensure our stay was a good one. On arrival we weren't dissapointed and the villa was one of the best if not the best we have stayed in. There was everthing you could wish for in it, and the added help of having chairs and stuff to use at the beach. The villa was well presented, very clean and the management company were excellent when we needed their help. A great experience all round and we'd definitely both consider it again and recommend it to others with young children.

This is the second time we have stayed at this villa and certainly wont be the last..Very comfortable/clean/and in an idyllic setting...and ideally situated for short trips to Sarasota.St Petes etc
The pool is great as it has no other houses overlooking it and feels very private and secure.
The owner and the management company who look after the place are very helpful and obliging,and nothing is any trouble at all,they make sure your stay is as pleasurable as possible.
Thanks again for letting us stay here and we will back again next year,

The Villa is comfortable with all equipment required for a prolonged stay. Sabal Harbour is in a good location to visit locations such as Sarasota, St Armands,Venice, St Petes, and Orlando 90 mins possible.

A beautiful home in an excellent location

This property was exactly as described - a really beautiful home with everything you require for a perfect holiday. It is very well equipped and maintained to a high standard.
The pool which overlooked the lake was wonderful - very clean and maintained weekly.
The house is very well situated, with shopping malls and beaches within easy reach.
Anna Maria Island is just a short distance away and well worth a visit - a walk onto the fishing pier is a must.
There are numerous restaurants within easy reach - including the chains Red Lobster and Olive Garden, providing good value for money. Two further chains- Perkins and Bob Evans are excellent for breakfast, and again not far away.There are also opportunities for fine dining close by.
If you are a member of the English shopping team as I am, a trip to Ellerton outlets is highly recommended, and just a few miles away! The shops in Sarasota are also worth a visit - plenty of Malls to choose from.
We chose this coast for its abundance of beautiul quiet beaches,wonderful wild life and peace and tranquility. However, if you want to visit the theme parks Orlando is about two hours drive away, and Busch Gardens just up the road at Tampa, nearer still.
We have had a perfect holiday and will certainly be back. I highly recommend this property.
