Charming home for great family holidays

Our family visited Cascais the third time in May 2012. Now we have the feeling that we have found a place were we can return next time. From the beginning of our planning and renting the house we had excellent support by Eduardo, the owner of the villa. The range of information about the area, the house and the Villa Bicuda was excellent. Our first impression of the house was very good and it did not change during our stay for two weeks. The house is perfect for holiday with the family. Everything was very clean, nice furnitured, very cosy and well-equipped. The kitchen offers everything a family needs during their holidays - from large frig to dishwasher und washing-machine (one point should be changed: the ceramic stove top is damaged, perhaps this could get dangerous in the future). The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are really comfortable. There is enough storage room for the clothes, shoes, etc. so that one is able to keep everything in good order.
The pool area is very nice for children. Our little son was very enthusiastic about it. The bakery in the Villa Bicuda offers excellent bread for breakfast time and some delicious "pasteis de nata". The choice of the little supermarket was absolutely satisfying.
Villa Bicuda is very well situated. It is very calm, it is near some excellent beaches and you can visit Cascais and Estoril by car in some minutes. Even a trip to Lisboa is easily done in 25 minutes.
One is sure - we will return next year. As this is an excellent place for children we will invite some friends of or little son to attend us and to visit one of the most beautiful sites of Portugal.

Villa Bicuda is very well situated. It is very calm, it is near some excellent beaches and you can visit Cascais and Estoril by car in some minutes. Even a trip to Lisboa is easily done in 25 minutes.

Es gibt Sie noch,kleine,feine,ruhige Ferienhäuser

Nachdem wir dieses Jahr schon einmal in Cascais ein paar Tage Urlaub gemacht haben sollte es dieses mal ein Ferienhaus mit Pool und kleiner Anlage sein.
Genau das haben wir mit diesem Ferienhaus gefunden.
Die Abwicklung bis hin zur Ankunft ging absolut problemlos, freundlich, schnell und auf unsere Sonderwünsche, spätes Auschecken, wurde auch sofort eingegangen.
Das Haus liegt in einer schönen Anlage in der auch zimlich viele Portugiesen, Spanier und weitere Europäer das ganze Jahr über leben. Die ganze Anlage macht immer einen SEHR gepflegten Eindruck und die Grünflächen und Blumen sahen selbst im Sommer frisch und gepflegt aus.
Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, zwar beschränkt, aber für die täglichen Dinge absolut ausreichend ist per Fuss zu erreichen. Der Bäcker ist "Supergut" und die Brötchen sowie Törtchen / Pasteis sind stets frisch, günstig und gefährlich gut !
Unser Vermieter Eduardo war immer zu erreichen und als unser Kühlschrank den "Geist" am Wochenende aufgab und die Dienste einstellte wurde am Montag gleich ein neuer geliefert. Toll gemacht.
Das Ferienhaus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, großer SAMSUNG Fernseher (hatten wir im Urlaub NIE an), gut ausgestattete Küche (Kaffemaschine wäre noch ein Plus) und die beiden Schlafzimmer waren auch sehr gemütlich. Wir haben dort alle sehr gut geschlafen.
Das Wohnzimmer haben wir im Sommer so gut wie nie genutzt, alles spielte sich auf der Terasse ab. Im Sommer wird's um die Mittagszeit allerdings "knackig" war, wass aber nie unangenehm war.
Das Badezimmer im ersten Stock ist für einen Urlaubsaufenthalt absolut ausreichend, begehbare Dusche wäre schön, aber Wünsche hat man ja immer...
Alles war Blitzeplank sauber und nach einer Woche haben wir das ganze Haus einmal durch eine durch den Vermieter vermittelte junge Frau putzen lassen was diese ganz toll, gründlich und schnell gemacht hatte. Dies sollten Sie auf jeden Fall auch machen lassen. Die weitere Betreung durch Eduardo war hinsichtlich Tips und Hinweise für Cascais und Umgebung auch ganz herzlich und umfassend.
Als wir nach 15 Tagen nachhause mußten wären wir gerne noch ein paar Tage länger in diesem schönen Haus und in Cascais geblieben.

Unas vacaciones perfectas

Acabamos de regresar de unos fantásticos días de estancia en esta casa (ref. 444931). Han sido unos días perfectos. La casa dispone de todo lo que puedas necesitar y más. Está en un estado muy cuidado y decorada al detalle. Su localización es ideal porque está próxima a todos los puntos turísticos importantes. Los centros comerciales están a pocos minutos. La Villa es muy bonita y tranquila, con dos piscinas bastante grandes. Todo muy bien cuidado. Y por supuesto, la amabilidad de los dueños es excepcional. Gracias Eduardo por toda la información que nos has facilitado sobre los alrededores así como por tu disponibilidad. Esperamos volver pronto.

La casa esta muy bien, es espaciosa y muy bien equipada. supero nuestras espectativas.
la urbanizacion es muy tranquila, esta muy bien cuidada, tiene seguridad privada y esta bien comunicada.
Eduardo fue amable y estuvo pendiente de facilitar incluso informacion turistica y las dudas sobre temas locales como transportes locales, cuales eran las mejores playas locales, etc.
Cascais y Estoril son muy bonitos y su proximidad a Sintra y Lisboa hace que sea un lugar ideal para conocer lo mejor de Portugal, ademas de poder disfrutar de playa y piscina.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful property in May 2011. The house is spacious, nicely decorated and equipped with everything you may need. Eduardo is very friendly and helpfull and always answers e/mails promptly (Gracias por todo, Eduardo!! Obrigado!!!).
We liked Lisbon, and LOVED Cascais and Sintra. We really hope to be back soon!!!

Perfecto para conocer Lisboa, Cascais, Sintra....

La casa es aún más impresionante de lo que aparece en las fotos. Está en una urbanización de lujo, bonita y tranquila, rodeada de pinos y a 3 min. en coche del mar.
Puedes visitar Lisboa (a 15 min. por autopista), Sintra (10 min.), Estoril (4 min.)...
La casa tiene dos plantas, salón comedor y cocina superamplios abajo, y dos dormitorios arriba. Tienen terraza-jardín, una piscina comunitaria preciosa, un minisupermercado en la propia urbanización, etc.
El duseño, Eduardo, fue superamable, aunque no le conocimos en persona, y tenía la casa llena de detalles.
Resumiendo: un sitio de diseño, precioso y en un lugar perfecto para visitar una de las mejores zonas de Portugal y a la vez descansar.

Beautiful stay

Our stay in Villa Bicuda was very nice and the large house met all our
expectations. It is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The
resort is quiet and the pool, only a short walk away, was very nice.
Only downside was that the house is poorly isolated, so sometimes you
can hear noise coming from both neighbors.
Eduardo was very helpful, also when we had questions on the house and
when something didn't work right. Parking is very easy, and the
location is ideal for trips to the coast, Cascais, Lisboa and Sintra.
And if you want to play golf: there are two beautiful greens to
conquer around the corner. It is however a location that requires a
car.

Casa da Guia is a center of commerce, food and throughout this tour, which sees the westernmost point of Europe Cabo da Roca, you can also visit the Boca do Inferno characterized by its vast open cave on land of about 150 million years, the Fort St. - Jorge Oitavos 1641 and Farol da Guia, eighteenth century.
Outside our door guests have a bus stop with access to:
- The center of Cascais and beaches (2/3 Km);
- Guincho beach (2 Km);
- Train station (2,5 Km) and then for Estoril, Carcavelos, Belém, all the Estoril coast and Lisbon;
- Central bus station in Cascais (near the train station) and then to Cabo da Roca or Sintra.
But it's preferable taxis which cost 5 euros each way to the Guincho beach or to the center and Cascais beaches.
