A private cottage the name is Karen cottage is 14 kilometres from Selfoss and in Grímsnes and 40 min drive from the capital Reykjavík.
Beautiful cottage with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
Living area with LCD 32; television with satellite and DVD player and leather sofa.
Bathroom with hot and cold shower.
The place offer golf course, swimming pool, and in summer time restaurant and bar.
In 5 min walking is a small football field.You can also rent 3G wierless internet 10 pounds per day.

Super Ferienhaus im Süden, zentral gelegen zu zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Geysir, Gulfoss, Skogarfoss, Hot River, Nationalpark Pingvellir (Weltkulturerbe), Reykjavik usw..
Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen - die Beschreibung stimmt absolut. Gemeinschaftspool (echt warm) und Umgebung mit Spielplatz, Minigolf und Golfplatz sind gut und großräumig angelegt. Es gibt Nachbarhäuser in etlichen Metern Entfernung, man ist echt für sich und kann die Ruhe und die Natur wunderbar genießen. Einkaufen geht gut im angrenzenden Selfoss. Das Haus ist gut geeignet für Familien mit 2 Kindern oder auch für Paare. Ein Auto ist unverzichtbar. Wir empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter. This house is perfectly and wonderful.

We spent 7 days in the cozy house and we can highly recommend it! The cottage is beautifully located only 10 kilometers away from Selfoss with supermarkets and restaurants and route 1. The house is furnished and equipped with a lot of taste and personality. The pool and the hot pots are very close. Our kids had a lot of fun watching the birds around the house. We also felt extremely well looked after by the owner and his family. Iceland at its best!

As mentioned in the other reviews, but I say it again with pleasure..
The cottage is triple A, with perfect beds, great coffee machine, etc but what makes your stay really worthwhile is the truly unselfishness of the owner and his family. What a hospitality! This is how we'll remember Iceland.
