We are planning to create a natural plunge pool from the outdoor pond. If this is important to your visit, do ask us for details of progress. We aim to have it ready for summer 2013. The hot tub arrives in May 2012.

Day trip to Oxford to wander the ancient colleges and hire a punt on the River Isis. Walk in the gorgeous bluebell woods around Highmoor (April & May).
Lunch overlooking the Thames down the hill at The French Horn in Sonning.
Attend famous Henley Regatta and Henley Festival and now the Henley Literary Festival.
Get tickets for the Hennessy Gold Cup race in Newbury in late November.
Walk or cycle the beautiful & dramatic Ridgeway Path near Swyncombe.
Shopping, theatre, golf, horses: In an area known for the best pubs in England two to consider are the Little Angel in Henley town or you can walk to our local pub The Packhorse Pub, across the fields, excellent food and an interesting children's play area.
Shop till you drop in quaint boutique shops in lovely Marlow or Henley.
In summer attend evening races at Royal Windsor Racecourse.
Walk in Windsor Great Park and visit UK’s most famous school Eton.
Try the wonderful little theatre at Sonning or the excellent Newbury theatre.
We are two minutes from an excellent golf course and ten minutes from a BHS recommended riding stables, which caters for children and adults. Just ask us how to book.
Further away, tour the Cotswolds and head for Bath.
Day trip to London, only 25 minutes, fast train Reading to Paddington, trains leave every 15 minutes.
