Built in 1911, our 101 year old stable has been converted to a comfortable 1 bedroom cottage complete with all the amenities of home. We love our cottage but we of course our opinion is biased. Please click on 'Traveler's Reviews' above for unbiased opinions. That said... do you want to walk to the Zoo, museums, dozens of local restaurants and bars? We have the place for you. The downtown historic Gaslamp district and Coronado beaches are just a 15 minute drive away. For sports enthusiasts we have golf, disc golf, tennis, swimming, hiking and running trails all within walking distance.

I needed a place within walking distance of my daughter & son-in-law & my new grandson. I looked at this cottage online plenty of times..could it be that nice? I was concerned, but no reason to be. It is a great cottage. Very cozy & comfortable, with everything you need...even zip-loc bags! I ran out of my shower get & there was some supplied in a nice basket in the bathroom. And the very cute bathroom has a heated floor! I turned the heat in the cottage off (prefer a cooler room at night) and the bathroom always felt warm with that nice floor. I am not even sure their description includes the wonderful back room...basically just a huge walk in closet...with a small closet with my own(well I guess it's own) washer & dryer. It kind of felt like my place...private, clean, cozy... It was a great place to stay, the pictures are very accurate. I love to walk -easy to get to Balboa Park, many restaurants to walk to. Mike & Sharon were very nice. I already have a reservation to go back!

Well, I have just returned from a week at this cozy, comfortable, charming cottage in San Diego located right on the North Park/South Park border (a great neighborhood!) ... and I wish that I were still ensconced in that little bit of heaven! The cottage is beautifully yet simply appointed with all the amenities needed for a home away from home. The owners, Sharon and Mike, are most gracious hosts allowing their guests privacy while at the same time being available for questions or a friendly chat from their front porch. Best of all was the lovely sound of water flowing softly through their Koi pond in the evening that lulled me in a deep, peaceful sleep. I highly recommend this cottage!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to San Diego. The cottage provided the perfect accommodation. It is nicely decorated and comfortable, with a claw footed bathtub and amazingly cozy bed! The owners were readily available and responsive, and made us feel welcome. The cottage is located in a very nice, residential area, just a few minutes from Balboa Park and North Park shops and restaurants, and about 15 minutes from the downtown area and harbour. It is a wonderful place to stay. We'll be back!
We love Craftsman style homes! Sharon is a Realtor and Michael is a General Contractor. Our passion is making our homes comfortable, functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Location, location, location! Centrally located North Park offers easy access to the most popular attractions San Diego has to offer. Great year-round weather and no bugs are a plus too! (We're both originally from southern states) Since moving to San Diego in 1983 we have resided in Point Loma, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach and Downtown San Diego but North Park is by far our favorite place to live.
Our home is on a quiet, 1-block long section of Spruce. North Park is a centrally located San Diego neighborhood and an easy drive to Sea World, Coronado, Petco Park, Qualcomm Stadium, the downtown bayfront and dozens of other attractions.
