We had a wonderful Christmas at this beautiful home. We have rented some fabulous homes and this kitchen is appointed wonderfully, second to none and we really could enjoy preparing all our holiday meals. The owners were terrific - I inquired if there would be a Christmas tree or sleds for the kids and they decorated the house very tastefully and with a beautiful tree. They also bought two sleds for the house and for our use. Luckily, we got some last minute snow, sufficient for 3 great days at Okemo (good lessons for our little skiers) and sledding right out the door. The external picture does not quite capture the lovely setting and views. All bedrooms and linens were in good shape and clean. I loved the separate living areas, separate TV and game areas, and we even used the fireplace. There were lots of games for all and books for children available. Our group was 3 generations consisting of 4 couples and 4 grandchildren ages 4-10 and we all loved this house.

This home more than met our expectations. We had a group reunion with 10 people. Everyone slept comfortably and privately. The view out the windows is spectacular. All the furnishings were carefully chosen and are well maintained. The bed linens and plentiful towels were fresh and the entire home was
spotless. House is about 20min drive to Okemo. We were very pleased and would certainly return again.

First off owners are great. When we called to rent the house they let us know that there wasn't much snow and skiing probably wasn't great. It was nice to see they cared about our weekend versus just renting the house.

The house itself is beautiful. It was very clean, well cared for and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need. The house has a great layout for lots of couples or 2 to 3 families. And it's only a 10 to 15 minute drive to Okemo and Jackson Gore.

Would definitely look to rent again.

My friends and I rented this house for New Years weekend. When we first walked into the house, everyone was impressed by the beautiful views. The main floor has windows everywhere and makes the house very bright. Every inch of the house was completely clean. Our group of 12 was a mixture of some couples and some singles and all of the bedroom accommodations worked perfectly and comfortably. It is only a 20 minute drive from Okemo and 40 minutes to Killington. We also went to the Long Trail Brewery which is only 40 minutes away from the house. If we weren't skiing, we pretty much stayed at the house because it had everything you could need. The owners gave us recommendations of restaurants, but we stayed in every night because the kitchen is stocked with every type of cooking appliance to make a good meal. It has so many rooms that no one felt like they were on top of each other. All pillows, linens and towels were provided which made it a lot easier with everyone coming from different states. It would have been very hard to coordinate otherwise. The fireplace in the living room provides so much heat that after every ski day, we all gathered around there. There are also a lot of games that we all enjoyed playing. Because the house is so secluded, we didn't have to worry about making too much noise while celebrating. We had a great weekend and all of my friends are talking about going back next New Years! Thank you for renting us this amazing house!!

My wife and I have been coming up to Vermont for years, and now with our kids at an age where they can truly enjoy outdoor activities, its a real blessing to find a place like this. We traveled up with some friends and their children as well - all ages 6-10 - and there was something for everyone. The house was located on a beautiful piece of property with hiking paths that lead through the many acres of forest surrounding. We also were close enough to Rutland (15 min drive) to be able to access great mountain biking trails one afternoon.

When we could collect the troops inside, the extensive kitchen and large family dining area were perfect for meals together - though the firepit on the back porch was the real kid-pleaser.

I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor retreat and possibly one of the greatest sunsets we've seen. We are already planning a return in late skiseason to try out Killington and Okemo!
