My husband and I are both trained as architects. I work as a designer, architect, and adjunct instructor at a local college. My husband is originally from Nashville and works for a student housing company. We also have a 3-year old daughter.
Rachel and Edward Martin purchased this apartment in 2010
The location is fantastic. It's a great walking neighborhood. We walk to the Dragon Park with our daughter several times a week (you can pretty much see the park from the sidewalk in front). We also enjoy walking to the many restaurants so close by.

Wonderful apartment in Hillsboro Village

The owners were so open to having a baby stay in this apartment that they lent us a play pen, an exersaucer and a ton of toys for my little 10 month old. It made my life so much easier while my husband was out doing his music business. The house is located near a beautiful park and the quaint Hillsboro Village, full of shops and restaurants that we ate at often. Another bonus was the washer and dryer, with a baby they were invaluable.
The apartment is clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. It is exactly as pictured in the photos. There was only one thing that could have been quite useful, if I could say one minor thing, is that there is no dining room table. Because we have a baby, we didn't eat out all the time and ate in, but we ended up borrowing a folding one from an acquaintance of my husband so it all worked out.
The owners were friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again if we came back to Nashville. I highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Clean, cute and private

I'm new in Nashville and my parents came from Puerto Rico to visit. I live with a roommate so I don't have a comfortable space for my parents. We loved this place. Its quiet, beautiful, clean, and has all you need, like home. The beds are so comfortable, big bedrooms, hot water, cable, internet and great location. Everything!!!! I highly recommend this place.

LOCATION! LOCATION!

This is a terrific apartment located in the backyard of Vanderbilt University and just a few blocks from Belmont University. I loved this side of town, great restaurants and shops. Lovely park nearby and the Mall at Green Hills is only a couple miles down the road. The apartment had large bedrooms and very clean and comfortable.

Very nice, comfortable apartment!

This is a very nice and comfortable upstairs apartment on a quiet street just steps away from Vanderbilt Medical Center and Vanderbilt University. The beds were very comfortable, there are plenty of amenities (Hi-Def Cable TV, Washer/Dryer, A/C), and plenty of on-street parking. If you enjoy strolling the streets around the university, you will love this location. I very much enjoyed my stay, and look forward to returning.

Very cute place and great location!

Want to thank the owners for such a cute place! Stayed here for a week while researching the area and loved it! So much nicer then a hotel for a week, especially when you have a dog! Very close to neat little shops and great coffee shops and places to eat as well. Minutes to downtown which was fun too! Place was clean upon arrival and laid out as described. Offered everything we needed for our stay, 2bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen with utensils, laundry room.. Area was big on supporting local business which was awesome and big on recycling, a bonus to us at least! No problems what so ever durning our stay and would recommend to anyone we know! Overall we loved the week spent here and only wish we could have spent longer period of time in town! Thanks again!

Superb location + comfy accommodations = a great stay

This comfy & cozy 2BR apartment gives you not only a stylish and modern interior, but an amazing location to boot. You're in a safe residential neighborhood near a school and a stone's throw from the campus of Vanderbilt, so there are amenities galore within walking distance. Easy access to thoroughfares put the aiport about 15 minutes away and the downtown "Nashville scene" area about half that. The owners were wonderful to deal with, and we were extremely satisfied with every aspect of the stay - from the comfortable beds, special touches in the apartment's decor and appliances, Highly recommended! We hope to stay here again during a return trip in March 2012...

We so enjoyed our three nights at this clean, green get away! Located in an amazing residential neighborhood in the heart of Nashville, the best part of our stay was taking the time for a couple of morning strolls--one through the neighborhood and the other through Vanderbilt university's campus. We truly loved everything about it. The beds were comfortable and clean with crisp, white linens. The apartment is decorated in an interesting, stylish, and simple way. We were very comfortable and at home which says a lot since we traveled with our five month old! We would recommend it to anyone!

Location, location, location!!!

This apartment couldn’t be more convenient to everything we wanted to do in Nashville. Apartment is equipped with everything for a comfortable stay. The property has been beautifully remodeled to blend the old with new green touches; upgrading where needed and keeping the personality of the original space where possible.
I was a little apprehensive about being in such close proximity to the owners, but they were completely unobtrusive and the apartment has a totally separate entrance with no common areas with the main house.
I will definitely book this property again.
