Quiet in the heart of the French Quarter
My husband and I attended French Quarterfest and spent 4 days in this condo. Previously, we had stayed in hotels, but this year we wanted a "homier" feeling. We were delighted to have our own kitchen and separate bedroom upstairs. The pictures are fairly accurate. The condo was clean and had nearly all we needed. Items I would add: toaster, blender, a chair in living space, and kleenex.
The bed and bedding were comfortable, although I prefer a harder mattress. When we needed to get away from all the noise on the street, this was the perfect retreat! We entertained friends on the patio and ate every breakfast here. The bathroom was roomy, but you have to climb stairs to get to it. We considered it good exercise for our aging knees! This condo is in a great location. Outside the front door is Emeril's NOLA restaurant. Two blocks one way are the famous Royal and Bourbon streets. The other way leads to Decatur and the Riverfront. Since this was a music festival, we were able to easily get to the various venues and stages. We would definitely consider returning here, and my husband says he would recommend it for business stays.
Owner's Response: Hi Mimi:
I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for the feedback. There was a chair in the living area up until the stay right before yours. The rocking chair finally broke after a lot of use. We will replace it sooner than later!
