Spacious yet intimate
The home is a craftsman style and many of the furnishings inside reflect that period. An elegantly decorated front foyer/library is welcoming each day you return home. Traffic flow in the house is convenient, with a front bedroom/gym, a full bath downstairs (the shower in there is spectacular!!), a roomy kitchen flowing into a back living area, which flows nicely out to a spanish tiled patio for dining and a cozy outdoor seating area complete with gas fireplace. Also downstairs is a large dining area open to a front parlor, convenient for peaceful reflection, work or intimate conversation among adults.
Music and television entertainment are robust with cd's, radio, Netflix, full cable.
Upstairs two well sized bedrooms, each with its own bath en suite, provides privacy and comfort. Each bedroom has TV and full closets.
Linens are provided as are towels. AC was consistent and responsive.
Our family of five stayed very comfortable, and made many wonderful memories visiting relatives in the area. We all retired back to the house one evening for a barbecue (although it was take out!) and the yard suited us perfectly for this gathering.
The hostess provided professional service and excellent communication on not only the rental process, regulations, but also in providing clear direction throughout the house on the various amenities- all captured in a white binder bible available at the site!
We were able to access Old Town quickly and easily, all in five minutes we were on Colorado in Pasadena. Also nearby the house is a shopping center with a grocer, a Starbucks and a CVS a bit farther down the road. The house is convenient access to most major highways leading out to LA, down to San Diego or points north. Nearby are many tourist sites as well. Don't miss a morning hike in Eaton Canyon and the Angeles Forest!

A fantastic home-away-from-home
The living space is so nicely appointed and exudes that relaxed California charm. We really enjoyed dinners in the dining room and relaxing and playing in the family room. The kitchen is absolutely fantastic! We spent lots of time playing in the wonderful, private backyard and even had an Easter egg hunt back there! The bedrooms are so comfortable and nicely decorated and we really appreciated that two bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms!
I found Casa Navarro to be really convenient to lots of great kid-friendly stuff like KidSpace and Descanso Gardens. The house is also a short walk to a park with a nice playground.
I highly recommend Casa Navrro for families looking for a home away from home in LA!
