Thank you so much Karen, Annette, Andrew and Trevor for taking such wonderful care of us during our stay. My friends and I were looking for a beautiful beach, relaxation and wonderful weather and we got all three and more. The beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever been to. Your staff couldn't have done more for us, we made new friends. Annette cooked us wonderful meals, Andrew took us wherever we wanted to go and stayed with us, Trevor made us feel very safe and Karen called a couple of times during our stay to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Anyone looking for a relaxing vacation I would highly recommend One Rythm. We hope to get back again some day.

First of all, let me say thank you to the owner, Karen, for all of her kindness and patience with me during the planning stages of my trip! I could not have pulled off my trip so smoothly without you, dear. Secondly, I also want to thank the housekeeper, Jasmine, for spoiling me during my trip! You mean I didn't have to do my own laundry OR cooking??? lol Jasmine was very efficient. By 10am, she had the house (and the veranda) spotless every morning of our stay. Sometimes, we didn't even know she was still there, but whenever we needed her, she had a way of appearing to honor our every request. That's comfort!

One Rhythm Villa.....
It has taken me so long to rate One Rhythm because honestly...there are no words to explain the beauty of One Rhythm; nothing I can say to describe the peace experienced in Duncan's Bay. I'll be honest...there were torrential rains the night we arrived at the villa. And I don't think I really noticed the villa's beauty that night. We we tired...and wet, so we had an early night.

The next morning...and every morning thereafter...as the sun peeked through the window slats...I was amazed by the sheer beauty of the villa. Every morning, I would wake, and rush to open the doors and flip the window slats, to enjoy that cool Caribbean breeze. We didn't go anywhere for most of our trip. But I was perfectly comfortable at the villa.

Karen has spared no expense with decorating. Each piece she selected...from the "Call of the Sea" plaque, to the seahorse statue, or the Rastaman wood carving...let me not forget to mention the handpainted coffee table, AND the hand-painted dining room table and chair set, all added to the unique charm of One Rhythm. The intricate detail in the dining room table and chairs were, in itself, works of art! This place is AMAZING!! I cannoot continue to write because I find myself being transported back there all over again! And I get excited.

So let me just wrap this up by saying...Hand-down, this is the BEST villa in Duncan's Bay. I've seen the other villas, and some appeared nice from outside. But there is ONLY ONE "ONE RHYTHM". None of them can hold a candle the pristine white villa on the corner, with hammocks in the garden, sun playing off the mosaic tile on the veranda, where you can sit and watch hummingbirds gather sweet nectar from the flowers. (Wistful sigh) There is no other place like it in the world. Thank you, One Rhythm...

Homemade meals, clean rooms and linens, and waking up to wonderful beach breezes..,what else could you ask for! How about coffee and local breakfast fare served to you with a smile.
I have beautiful pictures of the gourmet meals and the most relaxing beach settings. Once you arrive, you are taken care of. The driver is so knowledgable and provides endless amounts of tourist information. You instantly know that Mr. Andrew is respected in the community and will take the utmost care of you during any tourist outings.

Karen, we just got back to St Pete. I just wanted to tell you that we had an awesome time in Jamaica. Everything was great! Thanks to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable. I will post a comment on your VRBO site soon. Thanks again, Julie,Greg,Matthew and Marissa.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at One Rhythm Villa. We are so sad that your villa is fully booked and we were not able to book it again this year. We will be in touch to book early for 2013. Almost a year later and our daughters still talk about Ms. Jasmine and Ashley. We had one of the best vacations of our lives while staying at your villa. The local people hold you and your guests in such high regard that we truly felt as the whole community were keeping an eye out for us, making sure we had a good time and were safe! This meant so much to us. The local fishermen that brought fresh lobster and fish to our door, Ashley’s personal tour of the caves, and Ms Jasmine’s cooking were just some of the highlights of our vacation, not to mention how clean and beautiful One Rhythm Villa is. Although we can’t stay at One Rhythm this year, we will be staying just down the road and will be stopping by to say hi to Jasmine and Ashley and cant wait to be back again next year!! Till then take care, and thanks for your assistance in helping us book our vacation this year. Your hospitality is without equal.

Let me start by saying that this experience was the most wonderful first time international trip we have ever taken. We Will be returnin very soon.
Ms Jasmine was to say the least a very kind, loving, woman.. she done everything and more for us without asking. Our supper the fisrt night was amazing! The fresh fruit we bought was great.
Andrew, our driver was the best person ever. He would have done anything for us. He took us all over showing us different sites and telling us about the place/history behind it. If we needed him all we had to do was call and within about 30 mins he was there.. he drops everything hes doing just to help you. We LOVED him very much. He even called us to make sure we arrived home safe from our flight!!!
Karen has been nothing but amazing to us. She called us when we arrived at the villa to make sure that everything was to our liking and expectations. TO SAY THE LEAST THE VILLA WAS AMAZING THE STAFF WAS THE BEST & THE COMMUNITY WAS VERY RESECTFUL AND WELCOMING TO US. "STAY HERE, YOU WONT REGRET IT ONE SECOND, PROMISE". This was definitely our "Home Away from Home". Ashley our neighbor was amazing, he cleaned our conch shells that we went snorkling and found and i must say Him and Ms Jasmine done a Amazing job, and the best part we didnt even ask they just done it for us. That was a Blessing for us which we appreciated. If you cant find Jamaica amazing your not the right villa, with the Best people around, Andrew, Ms Jasmine and Ashley. So stay here and your wishes and dreams will come true! Thank you soo much for everything Karen, we WILL be coming back.

Andrew's knowledge of the area as we drove along the coast made us feel taken care of and as though we were on a truly authentic Jamaican experience. From the minute we met him and ALL week Andrew met our every need and made as feel so taken care of. Andrew took us across the Island to all the places that we've been dreaming of visiting in Jamaica. Thank you Andrew.

Once arriving at the villa (which the pictures didn't do justice to) we were met by Miss Jasmin's kind spirit and amazing Jamaican fare. All week she took care of our every need and we truly felt spoiled. Thank you Miss Jasmin

Many days, we were the only people enjoying the crystal clear beautiful blue waters of Duncan's Bay. Late afternoon we would wander down to see the fisherman to purchase the freshest of fish that we've ever had.

We agree with the many local friends we made, that Karen, her family and One Rhythm Villa are unique and special in every sense of the word.

The villa itself is nestled in a garden of fruit trees, tropical plants and lazy swinging hammocks. All of which is kept pristine by Ras Charlie (one of the kindest souls we've every met). Inside, the villa is simple yet welcoming with its white walls and high beam ceilings. Anywhere you turn you can feel the love that has gone in to creating this beautiful home away from home.
