Our bungalow is located in the relatively new seaside resort of Marina di Modica, in the shade of palm and eucalyptus trees. It contains 2 bedrooms with two beds each, living room, small kitchen and one bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. The new laundry can be used for 3 euro per wash per machine. Electricity and gas and a parking spot on site are included in the rental price. On a small terrace in front of the bungalow there is a table, chairs and a lounger, where you can really relax in the secluded green surroundings.
Further information: On the small terrace in front of the bungalow are a table, chairs and a lounger, where you can easily relax in the secluded green surroundings. At night with clear skies full of stars and rolling seas one is often reminded of the traditional musings of the great German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe who recounts his travels in Italy. “Italy without Sicily leaves no picture in the soul, there lies the key to everything”
Further information: The (mostly) mild climate makes it possible to visit the whole year round, although you should not forget your umbrella during the winter months and at night it is recommended to bring some warm winter things. Between December and April, the flora and fauna of Sicily undergoes a sort of spring cleaning and decorates itself with blossoms on trees, hedges, bushes, meadows and fields. Later on in the year the sun and the clean blue sea (water temperature of 20-30 degrees between June and the end of October) and smooth, sandy beaches make for great swimming.
Further Information: There are plenty of sightseeing opportunities in the local area and further afield. Trips to many cultural and historical places in Sicily, like Cava d' Ispica, Castello di Donnafugata, Ragusa, Modica, Noto, Agrigento, Piazza Amerina, Syracusa and naturally to the 3,380 meter high Stromboli, the only active volcano in Europe are among the many possibilities. Or how about a day trip to neighbouring Malta? Only 6 miles away from our Marina di Modica resort you can take an express catamaran that travels each midday to the Maltese capital La Valetta, returning in the evening, the trip taking just 70 minutes each way.
