My friends and I stayed a long weekend at this home and absolutely enjoyed it. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor space with great views and surroundings. It is a little bit of a drive to downtown, but not bad and worth it for the surroundings (and quiet nights). The owner was very easy to work with. As long as you don't need to be right in the middle of downtown, this is the place to stay in Austin!

Beautiful retreat in West lake hills

We spent a weekend with a group of girls at this gorgeous home in the Hills. The kitchen is wonderful for gathering and cooking together. We enjoyed the pool area and the outdoor activities. It is 6 miles to downtown restaurants and bars (about a $20 cab ride).
The home offers a great speaker system in each room and outside the home, which enhanced our meals and time together. The outdoor kitchen is great and the children's playhouse is cool inside (air-conditioned?). The owners are extremely accessible and helpful, they can help you with anything you might need during your stay. Many people in our group mentioned returning to the home with another group or family in the next few months.
This was a great trip to celebrate friendships and relax in a beautiful setting.

Fantastic Home

I stayed here in May of 2011 and can't tell you how fantastic it was. The location was very easy to find, yet I felt as though we were out in the woods.. The shuffle board was a hit, as was the fantastic pool, kitchen, and deck. I would love to stay here again.

My sisters and I spent the weekend and had a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful...amazing views! Secluded in the quiet hills of Austin but only a short drive to the fun of downtown restaurants and nightlife ...best of both worlds. Would recommend this place to anyone!
