Boston At Your Leisure

My husband and I stayed in the condo for a week in June. We had guests for several nights. The
location could not have been better. A 5 minute walk to the T (Park Street or Charles Street stations)
allowed us to visit Harvard and the Museum District easily but, mostly, we enjoyed leisurely strolls to
the Commons, Quincy Market, even the waterfront. The Esplanade is a few block aways and is an excellent running/walking trail with views of sailboats performing practice maneuvers. An unexpected highlight was Charles Street, which the condo overlooked from the kitchen, dining room and our bedroom. Here we found restaurants (Tuscano was amazing) of all types and price levels, a very helpful market (Charles Street Market), dry cleaners, and small shops to browse.
The condo is so comfortable and clean. The two bedrooms are spacious, with plenty of closet and drawer space. We were a little concerned about sharing a bathroom with everyone but, with the large
shower and counter space, no problem. It was especially nice to have the washer/dryer and go home with clean clothes. A completely updated kitchen, stocked with cooking essentials, allowed us to cook breakfast daily and keep snacks to refuel after all that walking! As mentioned by the website, there are
lots of stairs but we enjoyed being above the street. Last but not least, there are bookshelves in every room with an eclectic collection that has something for everyone.
If you want to explore as much as Boston as you can, or just relax for a few days, this is the place.
