Stayed at the Red House for 5 days/4 nights ending November 28. The apartment is perfectly close to everything Reykjavik has to offer. It's a few blocks walking to the restaurants/bars (downtown Reykjavik can get very loud with drunk folks, so this is the perfect distance away), museums, just a block from the huge church, coffee shops, shopping, etc. Super comfortable bed and linens, free wireless, fully accommodated kitchen with all utensils. In short, we couldn't have a found a better flat in Reykjavik, and I am a very picky traveler.

The Red House served as a fantastic base of operations for Reykjavik and Iceland. The location is fantastic, less than five minutes walk to the main shopping district, and there's a hotel half a block away where you can get picked up for all the guided tours, airport bus, and whatnot. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, bright and roomy, and very nicely furnished. The owners also left clear instructions on how to use everything from the laundry to the WiFi, which was appreciated.

The Red House was really great - while wandering around 101 Reykjavik, we could see Hallgrimskirka church from almost everywhere, so getting home was a breeze even when we got confused in the winding streets.

Very close to bars and shops, but not so close that it's loud during runtur (friday night is the big party night a few blocks away!) Warm, comfy beds, modern, and well decorated - really felt like a home away from home.

This great house ticks all the boxes. it's in an unbeatable central location. it's warm and cosy, light filled, and clean. you'll feel right at home. every small thing you will need is there. the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and there's a great coffee machine (buy the coffee from world champion barista and roaster at kaffismidja, round the corner!) the beds are very comfortable. there's lots of storage. everything seems very new. There is a landline which can be very handy. The owners are great to deal with. I looked at 5 places before we found the red house and we stayed there for 1 month. i usually find there's always something disappointing about furnished rentals, but you can trust this one. it's a real gem.

I have been traveling to Iceland for years and have taken many apts and this was the best by far. Located dwtn, by the church, so you do not get the party noise, but close enough to walk to the City ctr. Clean, well furnished, cute, comfortable. Management was super and I will def stay there my next trip
