This place has EVERYTHING you need for a great vacation! The amenities are 1st rate. The mosaic in the stairwell is truly amazing when lit up! The unit is very well decorated and comfortable to hang out in. Wine on the terrace at night was a great way to end the day. We had our three teenage boys with and they were never bored. Whether swimming or snorkeling for sea glass, watching movies in the master bedroom (awesome surround sound), or playing the board game - Life, it was all fun. Jen answered any questions we had promptly. The recommended places to eat were spot on. The drive to San Sebastian to go to the waterfalls was worth the trip even after going the completely wrong direction for 45 minutes. Pina coladas at the Sunset bar were very good (bring a translator). We shopped at the local grocery store and cooked most of our meals in the unit. Empanadas are the way to keep the teens full. For beautiful hand-made sea-glass jewelry go to Tres Puertas on the main road in Rincon. Wish we could have stayed another week. Thanks Jen and Bill for making your villa available!

If you're hip and cool enough to find your way to Rincon, Puerto Rico, you'll love Jen's stylishly decorated villa. Everything we needed for a family of 4 (with 2 small children) was available to us in the villa and made beach excursions or just hanging out poolside so easy. I would recommend Jen's villa to any other traveling family looking for a hassle-free vacation.

We live in this beautiful island; I visited many places in the U.S. and here, but this place is really beautiful. I stayed with all my family ( 2 teens,2 young child) and everybody found something to do. The beach, tennis court, basketball, pool and rollerskate are some of the things you can find here. This place is peaceful, friendly and relaxing. In the house you can find everything you need to cook (utensils). The owner and everybody was nice and helpful with any doubt. Much better than stay in a hotel. I highly recommend this villa for everybody.

Our family (girls 12, 9, 9) had an incredible time in Rincon. What a great place for a family vacation. We all learned to surf for the first time. I would highly recommend Erica at the boarding house for anyone who wants to learn to surf - she was awesome.

One big surprise was the incredible restaurants in the area. You've got to try The English Rose for breakfast - a real treat. Go with the recommendations in the Condo - there are many great places.

As far as the condo it was exactly as promised, absolutely gorgeous. There is great art work throughout and plenty to do. The beach is truly private, we never saw another person when relaxing on the beach. The extras the owners have in the condo (tennis racquets, snorkel gear, beach chairs, coolers, DVD's, games, etc) really make it nice. The beach is the best place we found in PR to find sea glass and our girls loved finding it.

Finally the owner, Jennifer, really went out of her way to make sure the entire experience was great for our family. She called personally to check on things and you can tell when you walk in they really want their guests to enjoy themselves. We felt like personal guests of Jennifer while we were there. I would strongly recommend this location to anyone. My only concern is that it is so great it will be sold out the next time we can get away and go. We're already trying to find the next time we can get to Rincon. It is paradise.

This was the best family vacation we have had! If you have kids and are looking for a fun and safe place to stay, this is it. The beach is gorgeous and the pool is spectacular! The condo is very comfortable and spacious and fully equipped with everything a family will need. I have rented condos in other places and can truly say our stay here was by far the best. The owners go out of there way to make your say comfortable and are easily available to answer any questions you may have.

I had no trouble keeping the kids busy because there is so much for them to do: swimming, snorkeling, boogie-boarding, frog catching at night, iguana spotting, swinging in the hammock, playing in the very spacious pool, and this was all at the complex!

Puerto Rico is our new favorite vacation spot. We will definitely be back!

It is difficult to find words that are more eloquent than those already expressed in previous reviews about Jennifer’s Buena Fortuna. I normally read such reviews with skepticism but the reality of her superbly maintained home, its comfortable furnishings, the delightful and tastefully rendered artwork and the overall ambience of the gated community, its pool and ocean front access and the Rincon’ area far exceeded our expectations. Every conceivable amenity for recreation, relaxation and homemaking was at hand. Rosalinda, Jennifer’s cheerful, thoughtful and helpful Concierge, helped to make our month’s stay a very special experience. My brother and sister-in-law and my son and daughter-in-law each enjoyed a week with us and are still remarking about the attractive and comfortable features of the villa, the wonders of the beautiful beach and breathtaking sunsets and our rooftop morning coffee and evening cocktail meetings where we enjoyed hours of conversation, reflection, reading and planning our next visit. During our month's stay our restaurant choices for dinner were the "Lazy Parrot", for lunch and dinner the "Shipwreck", for breakfast the "English Rose" and for brunch and dinner "Casa Islena".
In summary, Jennifer set a new standard for customer satisfaction, making us feel like family and maintaining enough contact to be sure everything was in order and that our every need was satisfied. No other of our rental experiences come close to comparison. We recommend Buena Fortuna without reservation.

This was our second stay at this lovely, immaculate property. The place is fantastic and the owner has it decorated so beautifully. Everything from the linens to the towels are top notch. The beach is a short walk and the golf cart makes it even easier. Fully equipped kitchen and barbeque so we could cook at 'home' or short drive to local restaurants. The property is gated so it is very secure and quiet. Keyless entry to the villa is a great thing when there are 6 of us staying here. The owner is always accessible and is eager to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend this rental in Rincon. The photos dont do it justice. It is clean, comfortable, has everything you need, and the owners sincerely care about the quality of your stay.

I would recommend this property if you are going with family and kids from age 1 to 10 years of age. Jen's house is way more beautiful then it is shown in pictures. Awesome taste of paintings, and furniture in the house. Beach is visible from top floor. Terrace is nicely decorated and can accommodate whole family for morning tea or evening deserts.. Best part was golf cart, my kid just loved it and we could take everything to private beach on it.. My son felt like a king there.. there are ton of games for kids, Snorkeling gear for family, bikes for young and adults, skating shoes, boogie boards and tennis gears. Even resort swimming pool at walking distance has amazing view of ocean and service is great.

We are thankful to Rosalinda who is a private concierge for Jen's house. She was just a call away and also lives in same development. She came over to meet us, there was a gift basket with fresh fruits, nuts and a wine bottle waiting for us. There are ample room and bathrooms in house and everything is decorated with care and love. We felt at home.
About Rincon - This town is great for family with younger kids who can not stay in Vegas life of Old San Juan or - i.e. bars, late night parties and cigars...Or for Surfers and Scuba divers.
Rincon is a quiet and serene place to be with loved ones. Beaches are crystal clear - awesome Scuba dive places - I did go for one - I will recommend Taino Divers near Rincon beach area - (Just FYI.. Rincon is one of the famous hot spot for scuba, Snorkeling and Surfing in US). There is live coral reef on and near Rincon beach.. You just have to be in knee deep water to see colorful fishes and sea plants or live corals at Rincon beach near Shipwreck restaurant and Taino divers. great for first timers or kids. I did my first scuba and I went 50 feet in live reef area - "candyland" near Desecheo island. We spent 2 days on private beach near Jen's house - 2 miles and no other human being - just my family - It felt like dream sequence.
Jen was always available on phone for any help - wireless internet and 60 inch TV with all the latest DVDs were in the house.

Cons - San Juan is about 2.5 hours away by car - All Puerto Rico attractions are near San Juan - Also pick Aguadilla airport if you plan to spend time in Rincon - its 30 minutes away against San Juan airport at 2.5 hr drive. Traffic is always crazy in PR and local routes are slow.
