We were in four countries on a budget and this was the best apartment out of them all. Great location! La Boqueria outdoor market (right next to the apartment) was fabulous!! I've never seen anything like it-fresh fruit, veggies, fish, meat, nuts, chocolate, you name it. The apartment was also within walking distance to so many things. It was nicely kept up and clean and had enough room for me, my 2 sisters and 2 nieces.

Carlos runs this property very efficiently and professionally and is personable, helpful, flexible and reachable! He's a gem and we will definitely stay here again, only longer this time. For the price it is awesome. Thanks Carlos...

I've stayed in this apartment several times in both winter and summer. I go with the same two people every time and it's unanimous that it's a great place to stay. The apartment is always very clean and well kept.

It has a fully appointed kitchen, great air conditioning, washer, dryer, coffee maker, a stove that works well which is a plus because we always shop at La Boqueria and cook many of our own meals. There are also several big grocery stores for staples.

There's even a great liquor/wine store on the ground level not to mention a great place with outdoor seating next door that's reasonably priced, great food and excellent service. The apartment also has wi-fi.

We love the neighborhood. It's very colorful to say the least. Often bustling and very busy but that's what we go to Barcelona for in the first place. I'm a city dweller so I don't go to places like Barcelona, Paris or Rome for peace and quiet. If I want peace and quiet I'll visit my elderly parents in NH.

The location could not be better with La Boqueria and the Ramblas insight not to mention it's a very short walk to the Raval, Place Catalunya, and Barceloneta. It's a 10 or 15 minute walk to the tram that takes you to Montjuic, the 4Gats is about a 10 minute walk on the other side of the Ramblas.

Carlos is great. Each time that we've stayed there we've found him to be extremely cordial, affable and efficient. Being from NY our flights always leave fairly early in the day. Both time we came back from dinner the night before our flights to find our deposit in cash on the table as promised.

Carlos is very efficient. We of course had his cell phone number. He answered the phone immediately the few times we had to call him.

I recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a down to earth Barcelona experience. It's the kind of place that gives you a real feel for the City. The Liceu subway stop is almost literally at your doorstep and will whisk to a train station for day trips or an inexpensive trip to the airport.

We always treat ourselves to taxis and cab drivers have no problem finding the spot to drop us off and grabbing a cab to the airport on any given morning is a snap.

Again, I can't say enough good things about the apartment, La Boqueria and especially Carlos. If I could afford to buy this apartment it would be mine already.

It's a rough city with 25% unemployment you must watch your things at all times regardless of location.

It is very close to Las Ramblas. That is both good and bad. I had my purse stolen on our arrival day while trying to get into this apartment. There are LOTS of theives in this part of town and they target travelers with suitcases - So beware! The apartment is clean and nice, but it's noisy at night and you have to check in or out on the schedule of the agent, Carlos. If you are trying to get to the dock for a cruise ship, you have to wait for him before you can check out. And the front door locks are a nightmare. Very difficult to open the door to this building. I'll stay at a hotel the next time I go to Barcelona.
