Spotless 3 BR 2 Bath elevated home! Redecorated in February 2012. Sun room has a full futon. Home is tastefully furnished, light and bright w/hardwood, tile and carpeted flooring. Overlooks a lagoon within a private community. Has a neighborhood path to beach and short walk to pool and tennis. Front deck for sunning or rear deck for shade. Convenient to shopping and entertainment yet only 20 minutes to historic Charleston. Winter monthly rates upon request. Pets require a non-refundable pet fee that is determined by the breed and weight of the dog. No cats please. Linens provided. This is a Non Smoking home but you can smoke on the porch.
Hi, I am the owner and an animal lover as well which is why I have made my home 'pet friendly'. When on vacation, I liked to take my pet with me and was willing to pay a pet fee to insure the owner no damage would be done by my pet. I live near the house and will always be available by phone to handle questions, problems or in any way at all that I can help you have a happier vacation.
I bought this island home originally to be my retirement home as it seemed to have everything I needed in a residence: large master, big kitchen, 2 porches, one sunny and one in the shade. It had the fireplace, wood floors and tile floors that I desired and an extra room for an office or sunroom. It was bright and sunny with custom plantation shutters throughout. Two bedrooms for guest or hobby use. However, I have become too entrenched with my lakeside home to now make the move for more than a vacation home. I think you will be very happy with the home. The location is perfect as it is within 2 minutes off the IOP connector bridge to take you into Mt Pleasant or historic Charleston. Shopping is within 3 minutes and you do not have to be in heavy summer traffic at the end of the island.
This property is as close as you can get to the Isle Of Palms Connector, enabling you to get to Charleston or to Mt. Pleasant in the least amount of time yet is in a private, secluded small neighborhood within walking distance for the kids to go to the shops at the beach. It also has great curb appeal and one of the few homes in this neighborhood to have the extra sunroom with a futon which can sleep two more. The rear deck overlooks a small pond. It is also one of the few homes to have a metal roof and a fireplace which are very appealing to me.
