We would recommend the apt to everyone but do hope that it won't be booked out when we want to visit NY again, because we would definitely want to stay there again! Great place, great host, great neighborhood in a great city! We are absolute fans!

We booked this apartment for five days on our very first trip to NYC. Not only was it exactly as shown, but the booking, check in and check out were the smoothest process we've ever experienced. The space was spotless (cleanliness means a lot to us--we were very impressed!), really nicely laid out, and the view from our windows charming. The building is very secure and clean too. We felt very comfortable. Maria was obliging, helpful, kind and timely in answering our replies--she even made sure we had an ipod dock in the apartment! What an amazing touch! The East Village area was fun, full of great restaurants, bars and we loved walking through Tompkins Square Park. Plus, there's the best cafe (Paradiso) just around the corner, not to mention a 24-hour grocery right on the corner too, which was very ideal. From here, you can walk to all the best hoods very easily, which we appreciated--we didn't have to take a cab once! Absolutely everything about our area and the apartment was what we were hoping for and more. If you're looking for a hip hood with great places to eat, drink and play, this apartment is for you. It's made for strolling and having fun. Thank you Maria and we can't wait to book with you again--we'll certainly recommend your apartment to all our Canadian friends!

The apartment is modern, tastefully decorated, modern and equiped with everything you might need (the bed and pillows are very comfortable!). The neighborhood is quiet and safe, but there are lots of restaurants and bars. The subway is 4 blocks and you can walk to soho, greenwich village, etc. Maria and Karina were very kind and helpfull, always answered are doubts. Fell in love with the city. We will definitely come back to New York and Maria's Apartment! / El departamento es moderno, muy bien decorado y equipado con todo lo que puedas necesitar. La cama y las almohadas por suerte eran muy cómodas!, la calefacción anda bárbaro y el agua caliente también. El subte está a 4 cuadras, ideal para moverse a todos lados. La zona es tranquila, rodeada del bullicio céntrico pero repleta de restaurants y bares de todo tipo. Maria y Karina son muy atentas y siempre dispuestas a ayudar o dar algún consejo. Es una ciudad hermosa a la que queremos volver lo antes posible y quedarnos en este departamento. Saludos a ambas y gracias por todo!

I spent three weeks in Maria's fantastic apartment and had such an amazing experience. It was my first time visiting New York from Australia so was a little nervous. I called prior to confirming my booking & was put at ease straight away by Maria who was so welcoming and friendly. The apartment is in a great location for exploring Manhattan on foot and is a 5 min walk to 14th where you can take the L train one stop to Brooklyn or head the other way to connect to uptown trains at Union Square or 8th Ave. On foot you can easily get anywhere on the lower east/west side though the subway on Houston is super close which I used lots. This apartment was worth every penny. All I had to do was call Maria if I had any problems and it got sorted out quickly. All in all, I had the best time in NY and what made it all the more enjoyable was knowing I was coming back to such a lovely place each night. For the money you wont beat it. Also, the super fast WiFi made life very easy. Thank you for such a fantastic stay in NYC! I'll most definitely be coming back and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

After much research, and many concerns about renting an apartment in NYC, we decided to take the chance and pay half of the total amount up front, sight unseen, based solely on the reviews on VRBO., I felt better once I spoke to Maria and we are so glad we did it. Took a few minutes to get keys from the guys at the resturant next door, paid them cash plus deposit and he took us upstairs and gave us the keys. Mikey came back later to program TV/cable. Both were very nice and Maria called us to make sure we had everything we needed. The studio was nicer than we expected, large space, clean, modern, full kitchen, fast elevator, plenty of linens, towels, pillows and blankets. Could not ask for more. Heat worked great, almost too good and but sofa sleepers were a little rough, my daughters ending up sleeping on the floor. Could have used a chair for empty space in the corner. Otherwise, could not have been happier. The location was good too, walk out the front door and you are in the middle of a lively bustling neighborhood with dozens of resturants within a few blocks. Subway stops are a solid 10 minute walk but not a problem. Apartment was very quiet too. We really enjoyed 7A for breakfast and my 16 year old daughter loved 2 Bros pizza at a dollar a slice. Maria called several times to make sure we did not need anything. deposit was refunded as promised. Would stay here again in a heart beat. Sorry Maria for turning off the gas by accident. Thanks for a great stay and would love to return sometimes.

Located in the trendy East Village a very nice location.
The apartment is better than pictures. The building has elevator andis newlly renovated.

We stayed a week at this lovely apartment. The place is very well decorated and clean!!! You have evething wifi internet, dvd and i pod player, cd player, cable, telephone, washer & dryer in unit, dishwasher machine. He heat worked great!!
The owner very helpful and nice.
I recommend this place to everyone
