My husband and I took our 7 year old daughter to the beach in May and we were very fortunate to be able to stay @ Mel Dawley's place. It was warm and inviting and made us feel right at home. Beautifully decorated and dealing with the owner for reservations was such an easy and pleasant experience. We will ask to stay again the next time we visit the beach.

My family and I were so impressed with our stay at the San Carlos condo. We loved the furniture and the design of the place. The bedrooms were so spacious and comfortable. We loved the way the sliding glass doors from the master bedroom opend up unto the balcony. The beautiful veiw of the ocean from the balcony was wonderful. The place was clean and well maintained. We also enjoyed and had fun at the nearby restaruants, shops and attractions. The owners were so helpful and nice to work with. I would definetly recommend this property to my relatives and friends.

As Nice As It Gets!

My family and I have stayed at many luxury condos from Alabama and Florida to various islands in the Caribbean and I can honestly say this is the most luxurious, comfortable and inviting condo we have ever stayed in. It's a lot of condo and well worth every penny which by the way was more than reasonable given the size and high luxury factor of the condo! The decor is top notch and no detail went undone. There were granite counters and luxury bedding which was quite a treat, especially in a condo! It had every comfort of a home away from home! There is nothing we needed that wasn't already there except for food & drinks! We walked to The Hangout and Sea-N-Suds....the location is PRIME! The beaches and pool were fabulous and we enjoyed sitting on the patio drinking coffee each morning while watching the dolphins in the ocean and drank wine watching the sunset each evening. The floor level was just right for a great view! The building and condo both were very clean and very well kept and the owner was nice & pleasant to work with and was prompt with her emails and returning our deposit. It was a treat dealing with someone so attentive. We loved this condo in San Carlos and most definitely will request is again! I would highly recommend as you will NOT be disappointed! Thanks for making our stay so fabulous from beginning to end!

PERFECT PLACE!!

I scheduled this family vacation originally for the 1st weekend of August, but due to a death in the family we had to reschedule. The owners were extremely accommodating and helped us to get the date that we wanted. We went down on Labor Day weekend right after Hurricane Issac and the place looked awesome!! Props to the housekeeping/grounds crew...because you would have never known a hurricane had just passed through!! The owner is so sweet and even called us that afternoon to make sure we got down there ok & everything was up to standards.
If you love Gulf Shores...you HAVE to stay here. We have stayed many,many places and have never been all that impressed. It was a family consensus that we will be staying here again next year. A+A+A+A+A+A+A+!!!!!!!!!!! Loved it!! :)

What a great place. My Family and I have stayed at the San Carlos around 10 different times and this place was nicer than any of the other units I have stayed in. The owner was easy to work with and very good at communicating with me. What a decorator. The beds were comfy, the view was great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There was even toys and boogie boards for the kids to play with during our stay. Thanks again. We hope to stay with you next summer.

This condo had great reviews and rightfully so! The condo is beautifully furnished, has plenty of space, was very clean upon arrival and the balcony was large and had a fantastic view. I was concerned the condo might be too high but it was perfect! Our family had a fantastic week and the owner was so helpful and great to work with. I highly recommend this condo! It was a very peaceful and restful stay :)

WOW!!!! Is the only word to describe the condo...it FAR exceeded our expectations!! The view is breathtaking, the patio/balcony is HUGE, the beds are comfy, the decor is so modern and inviting, and the owners are truly a joy to deal with! The condo is directly on the beach which is so nice and convenient with kiddos and the patio overlooking the beach was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails :) I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this condo and look forward to renting it again!!!

This was our 3rd visit to this beautiful condo in Gulf Shores. Once we stayed, we just couldn't imagine staying anywhere else again! We felt so comfortable & at home, yet like we were far away from reality. The condo from top to bottom, bathroom to kitchen, view to decor is hands down the best we've ever experienced! The decor in itself is above & beyond what you'd expect in a beach condo & you just simply can enjoy your condo & it's breathtaking view if you choose to stay in... Which I believe we often enjoy more than going out! We sleep like king and queens while it is very peaceful and relaxing & the rooms are so very inviting and conveniently equipped with anything you need. There is a room for everyone in the family & even perfect for a girls getaway. We've done both girls and family and it was perfect for both! There won't be many condos quite like this one that is so beautifully decorated, equipped & with quite the peaceful & magnificant view... Yet so close to everything! Walking distance even. I'm not sure we could ever stay else where & feel our stay was so perfectly complete from every aspect. We were even rained in a couple days on our last trip and we weren't in least inconvenience because we had this gorgeous condo to stay in & all the necessities we needed as well. We have 4 children and still felt like our visit was the best it possibly could have been! We know we will be back for many years to come! You won't want to miss out on this one!!

What a beautiful condo!! Perfect location for walking to restaurant, various venues, especially the Shrimp Festival. Gorgeous view of the gulf and the most perfect sunset I have ever seen. The pictures are great but the actual condo when you walk in is out of sight. The owners have made this a true home away from home. You have everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The condo was clean and well-maintained. The owners were a joy to work with. Very professional but still personable and caring. Plenty to do nearby. Our families had the time of their life. We are already planning to return and will definitely request this property depending on the size of our party next year.

Lets start with location. This condo sits at the perfect place. No streets to cross.....just walk out the back of the condo and you are on the beach. What a beach, pure white soft sand. The condo has everything you need to make your trip very relaxing. We felt like our home had been moved to the beach. We loved having dinner outside on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The condo was very clean and modern and made my family and I feel at home. We will be back.
