Studio voor 2p gehuurd. Top locatie, aan een prachtig mooi strand met groene schildpadden die je in de ochtend voorbij ziet zwemmen. Studio is niet groot, maar wel schoon/ netjes en verder van alle gemakken voorzien!

Betty en Peter zijn uitstekende gastvrouw en heer en wijzen je de weg op het prachtige eiland Exuma. Aanrader!

Nine of us stayed for a week and had a marvelous time. The accommodations were absolutely ideal for us all. It was the second visit for some of the family and we have already booked for next year. It was everything we had hoped for and the memories will linger for months!!

We just had another incredible stay at Coral Sands. We were just here last July and couldn't even wait a year to go back. We can't say enough about how wonderful the house is. This time, we used the entire house and everyone had a great time. Lots of room for our family with kids, my sister and her husband and my 80+ year old parents. The beach is still the best on the island with the nicest sand and great water. And don't forget to check out the grounds with some incredible flowers and plants.

The house is well equipped and impeccably clean and maintained. Excellent drinking water right out of the tap, comfortable beds, a beautiful kitchen and dining area. We maxed out the sleeping areas but were never bumping into each other. The decks and balconies are ideal with always a place with shade if you want it or sunny if you prefer to work on your tan.

The location is central on the island. Smitty's is just down the road for groceries including frozen meat and fresh fruit and vegetables. The liquor store is right next door to Smitty's. You are only a few minutes by car from Georgetown. I would recommend renting the car from Peter. Rates are good and you will make use of it touring the island.

Betty and Peter are incredible hosts, going above and beyond to make sure you enjoy not only their house but the entire island. They know all the best spots and can't go wrong with their recommendations and guidance.

And if there is any doubt about how much we love it, we booked out next vacation before we left!

Coral Sands is a beautiful home. It has a fabulous layout and is beautifully decorated. Betty and Peter Oxley are wonderful hosts and they were very helpful in planning our vacation and recommending activities and restaurants during our stay in Exuma. The beach is just a short walk down a lovely sandy path. The water is calm and absolutely beautiful, great for small children. It was an incredible vacation and I highly recommend staying at Coral Sands.

This year (2011) we went to Exuma for the second time and spent a great vacation in Coral Sands, a beachfront villa located in front of the beautiful Hooper's bay. This location is convenient and close to everything: downtown George Town, grocery stores and airport. The villa is tastefully furnished and has all the amenities you can wish: the owners, Betty and Peter Oxley, are very helpful with any kind of information and advise in order to make your vacation just perfect.
The first view that meets you when you enter the house is stunning: a turquoise sea framed by bouganville flowers and palms in a tropical garden in front of the beach. With few steps you can access the beach and a crystal clear water invites you for a swim and even during the first week of March the water temperature was ok.
The island can be easily explored by car, which can be rented from the Oxleys, with many secluded beaches waiting to be discovered. Renting a boat is also recommended: Minns Water Sports in George Town offers different models which gives the possibility to discover the beaches in the lagoons between Exuma and Stocking Island, with plenty of deserted beaches and snorkeling options.
Exuma is a beautiful destination and the accommodations offered by the Oxleys are perfect for a great holiday.

Amazing Beach!!

This wonderful vacation rental is situated right on the perfect beach for anyone who loves pure white powdery sand; flat beach, as opposed to sloped; calm water with very little or no waves; no obstacles in water such as rocks; no nasty animals such as man-of-war, jellyfish, sea cucumbers; no bugs such as mosquitos, possibly due to steady light breeze; perfect color of bright blue water; no other people on the beach except one or two walkers each day; some shade to read on the beach without burning - in this case by palm tress and casuarinas but the entire beach is not covered in shade; very pretty beach to look at all day with small islands in the bay and a couple sailboats in the distance; house right on the beach for easy access throughout the day. The beach is sheltered from winds which bothered visitors on other parts of the island. The Oxleys were the perfect hosts upon arrival; filling us in on so many details we would otherwise have missed about the island. They went far beyond the call of duty to organize the perfect boat trip in our budget, taxis, their rental car, etc, but left us to our privacy throughout our visit. We could not have asked for more. The house itself is actually nicer than the pictures suggest (inside and out), so that was an added bonus; very spacious with fabulous covered porches for enjoying the beach without excessive sun exposure. The location is close to the "action" and grocery store, even though it is very quiet and peaceful near the house. The price was great for the value; we rented the whole house for 2 people and had complete privacy with many extras. Big 5 star endorsement!

Ever have one of those "too good to be true" moments? You book something and it's not at all what you expected? Coral Sands, Exuma is NOT one of those moments. The photos on the website just don't do justice to the property and the beach- it far exceeded our expectations!!! A quiet beautiful beach with crystal clear water, immaculate house, spectacular view and superb hosts and service cannot begin to describe what you will experience during your stay here. This is worth every dollar spent and will be stress-free from landing to departure!
