Wonderful Get Away in the Middle of EVERYTHING!

My boyfriend and I stayed in this wonderful vacation home last September and have not stopped thinking about going back since!!! It feels so secluded but you are right in the heart of all the tourist attractions, great eating and the best shopping. We literally took a 3 hour nap outside by the pool and it was so peaceful! I loved everything about the house and the owners are the coolest people on the planet! I cannot wait to go back!!! It's perfect for a romantic trip for couples. You will not be disappointed with your stay!

Nice place but needs some maintenance

The location is great, and the pictures are generally accurate. The inside is quite small, and it is basically a large studio (the bedroom is partially open to the living area. But it needed a fair amount of cosmetic maintenance: about a third of the lights were not working, including most of the outdoor lights, TV outside wasn't working, most of the blinds in the house couldn't be opened and were quite scruffy, only one small light in the bathroom which as a result was very cave-liked, hardly any equipment in the kitchen (no coffee cups at all initially and don't plan to cook anything other than a simple breakfast). The owner and his assistant were pleasant to deal with, and did eventually get some things fixed, but it took a while as it was the holiday season and it shouldn't be necessary for guests to do a maintenance check.
Owner's Response: I am a little confused… if the pictures are accurate I do not understand why one would be generally dissatisfied? I would conclude when one rents a place based on description and photos that they would be pleasantly satisfied to find them to be accurate? For example; the square footage is listed on the advertisement so there are no misconceptions on the size. The vacation rental is advertised as a loft, a loft is generally defined as a space immediately below the roof and/or high ceilings, usually not partitioned off into rooms, in this case the bedroom and living spaces are separated by a wood bi-pass door. We are terribly sorry about the lights; once you notified us of the circumstance we had someone out to replace the bulbs. The outdoor television does work, if you had trouble using it I wish you would have asked us for some assistance operating it. We sincerely apologize; it was our understanding that we had specially accommodated you to make up for your inconvenience. We thank you for your comments and will take all of them into consideration. Our priority is to make sure all of our vacation renters enjoy every aspect of their vacation, if there is ever a problem please notify us so we can remedy the situation.

Lovely relaxing place

I really enjoyed my 1month stay at this house. Its clean and has everything you need. Nice bathroom, and kitchen and a very cozy bedroom. I loved the outdoor area with a pool. What a great place to hang out! You won't find many 1bdr homes in a LA with a pool and outdoor space. Perfect for hot and sunny afternoons. The owner and his family is very nice as well, easy going and answered my every question. I absolutely loved the area, its a walking distance to everything. Robertson blvd, my favorite cafe La Conversation, all the shops and restaurants. You are right next to Beverly Hills and in a heart of West Hollywood. Great area to jog and very pretty quet block and you are steps away from Santa Monica Blvd where all the fun stuff is. If I would live anywhere it would definitely be in that area. I absolutely recomend this place!!!!

Amazing little paradise in the middle of the city

This place is really so lovely and it has a great feel .. it has everything you need and everything you may find in a five starts hotel ... we loved the jacuzi and the pool ... very modern and well designed place .. very clean .. parking space available free of charge .. full kitchen .. central AC and heating .. grill ..aquaruim which is good if you have kids they will just love it ... and the best thing is it's just in the middle of the city and it is in a very safe part of the city in fact .. you can walk to everything and it's between 2 main streets which is sunset and santa monica where you can find plenty of resturants bars and shopping malls all within walking distance ... owners are so nice and helpful and very accommodating ... i wish everyone will enjoy this place as much as i did ... it makes a great vacation for everyone

Fabulous Vacation Rental

I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice getaway in the Los Angeles area. It’s nice and relaxing spot in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to Santa Monica Blvd and Sunset Blvd where there are several places to dine as well as a market (Pavilion). Also, within walking distance is Robertson Blvd for fantastic shopping and restaurants. My favorite was the heated pool, spa & cabana, what more could one ask for…? The home was clean and the owner is very accommodating, the only thing missing was a full length mirror. I didn’t want my vacation to end; I would defiantly stay here again!

Oasis in the middle of everything

My husband, 2 young children and I had a great stay at this place in West Hollywood. The house, although small, was very comfortable, light and airy. The layout worked really well and the high ceilings gave a feeling of space.
We all loved the pool, and with the LA heat in the middle of summer it was a god-send. The outdoor space was great, with a BBQ area and places to lounge, relax and read.
The location was also perfect, with many shops and restaurants in walking distance from the house. It was also central for driving to a lot of the sights LA has to offer.
Our host was very warm and accommodating, making us all feel very welcome.

Loved it!

I became interested in the property as soon as I saw the pictures on home away. The house looked truly ideal on the site and surprisingly it looked even better in life! The atmosphere of the house couldn't feel more of an escape. You have your pool, your jacuzzi, your cabana, your kitchen bar, and your double showers. What more could you ask for? The house also has an ideal location, right by Beverly Hills and Sunset. Amazing shopping and amazing views. You won't even need a car to stay in this area! Everything is close by, including the 24 hour Pavillians that's located right around the corner, which was very useful indeed. I will definitely recommend this house to anyone coming to LA to visit, or even if you need a weekend escape from your own LA home. I will definitely come here again!

First impressions last!

Great location. Does most of the things it says on the discription just not to a clean standard. Dissapointed with the owners attitude to the overall poor condion of the property for the money I payed. Lots of minor annoyances that does leave a sour taste.Stayed at 11 different locations on a 5 week tour and this was by far the most expensive and the only one which was not clean. Great idea very poorly exicuted!

Simply Amazing

I stayed here while I was in town on business. The location was exactly where I needed to be, the house itself is immaculate, and the backyard, goes without saying. If you like pools and hot tubs this is the place to stay. The space is very intimate and perfect for a week long get away for 2 people but also cozy enough to have guests and enjoy an evening together. Everything you need is walking distance from the house ie restaurants, bars, shops etc. I had never really explored this area before but staying here made me feel like a local and not a tourist.
The house itself is set back off the street so it's quiet and peaceful. Great for anyone who might have trouble sleeping.
The owner was also extremely helpful. If there was anything I needed he tried to accommodate it.
I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here while I was in town for business. The location is perfect, the house itself is immaculate, and the backyard, goes without saying. Very intimate and perfect for a week long get away. Short drive to the beach, walking distance for any amenity, ie: shops, restaurants, site seeing, bars, etc. Definitely a fabulous place to come and get away for work or play!
