Excellent vacation weekend!! We spent two nights there and both were great!! We made dinner and breakfast in the stocked kitchen, spent hours in the hot tub, and were in awe of the four deer that came right up to the back porch.
The rental process was pretty detailed and all visitors had to be registered, which meant no last minute friends could join, but understandable considering it's a gated community.
We're already checking for free weekends this summer to take advantage of the lake!! I highly recommend this rental

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Bob was extremely helpful from the very beginning. The house was very nice and fit all 8 of us with room to spare. The price was also the best I found, especially for what the house had to offer. Overall we had a great weekend thanks to Bob.

My Husband and i really enjoyed our stay at this rental,It was just like the homeowners said it was and more.It was super super clean!!!we will rent this cabin again in the future..

Time away fromm the big city

We decided to do a little get away from New york city for a couple of days. Myself and 7 other people chose to stay at this lovely little home. It was truly a great time! It was a perfect relaxing get away for me and my friends. The pictures doesnt do it any justice and prices where reasonable. The best part of the house is the HOT TUB, it was well used!!!! The house was incrediable and Bob was a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this house to anyone and plan to use the house in my future vacations. Thanks again Bob!

Would definetly come back

Exactly like the description and pictures. The house was clean, had all the ammentities needed to cook. The best part of the trip was the hot tub and dear, as they were so friendly and visited for breakfast and dinner. The lake was right there. THe only suggestion I have is if you have young children make sure to bring plastic cups and plates. We have already recommended the property to our friends. Bob could not have been more responsive and pleasent to deal with, a great guy.

My family had a great time at the house. It is not too far from many attractions in the area. As previously described, the house was very clean and the owners were very accessible if needed!! The welcome basket was great, especially if you forget something. We especially enjoyed Jim Thorpe and the train ride. Our 4 year old loved the train ride experience into the Lehigh Gorge. Lake Harmony is also very close and we had a great dinner at Nick's Lakehouse where we sat outback overlooking the lake for. The house was all that we expected and more. The hot tub was great to relax in at night too! Our 4 year old loved all of the deer that visit you in the backyard!! I would definetely recommend this house to anyone and my family expects to rent again in the future.

Relaxation. Even with 3 kids under 6

This house has everything you would need for a relaxing week in the mountains. It was so easy to get around the community. The lake is literally in your back yard, it can be seen through the trees. Having everything on one floor was so convenient, especially with a 1yr old. The pools were great and easy to find. The location of the house was great for any attraction you might wanna do. I would definitely return the next time I'm planning a trip to the poconos. The owners are great and get back to you practically immediately if you have any questions. The hot tub was nice, even my girls liked it

On Vacation from N/E Philadelphia we found this property Relaxing and Clean. The owners were very accommodating and cordial.
From the beginning of our search until the time our vacation was over, we felt very comfortable and welcome.
Thank you for sharing your Mountain home with my Family.
We will all remember our tour of the Pocono Raceway, the tour of the Old Jail, the Butterfly museum, The wildlife, Lakes, Pools. Friendly people and the Great establishments nearby.

GReat Time With The Family!

So today is my last day here and hate that we are leaving in the am THe deck was our favorite part and the screen house we sat out there all the time and you cant forget the HOT TUB great thing to have house has everything you need,just dont forget your jacket or long sleeve shirt for at night ,The deer come right up to the deck morning and night ..def go to the shopright not the little supermarket 20 min away,,,you will save alot of money we did the whitewater rafting 50 min away ... so fun bushkill falls..60 min away .. very nice unless you are afraid of heights..and the crossing outlets 30 min away .....great place great owners we had a great time

Great as Usual

This is my second time renting and I would and will rent again. The owners are very easy to deal with and contact, as I forgot to write down the code for the house and called on my way up and got it right away! The welcome basket is great, giving you the essentials that you need like laundry detergent, dish det, toilet paper, paper towels etc.. Soon as you walk into the house you feel like you are at home, a very cozy, neat and CLEAN house. We went up for a girls mid-weekend and had a great time. Relaxed in the hot tub, grilled and watched some movies. It's great that all the rooms have tv's and the living room has a dvd player as well. I rented last year in Sept. and when looking for a place to go for a getaway, I chose this house once again because it's great. My friends that came with me are planning to rent in September because they liked it so much. If you like deer, there are plenty to see!! It's great to be in the hot tub late at night, bbq'ing, and relaxing under the stars. It is a very nice development, very quiet, and very clean. I highly recommend renting from Bob, easy to deal with, your security is returned quickly, and very accommodating. This is great for a girls getaway(we booked spa treatments nearby), family getaway, couples, etc.. you can lay back and relax, or go out and explore the lakes, or leave the property and go shopping, waterparks etc.. I can't say enough good things about renting, but I will be renting again soon!
