This wonderful villa offers a serene environment in the middle of nature. Located off of the 10th hole of the South Golf course. Amenities include a fully furnished Kitchen equipped with microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Bedrooms feature 1 King size bed and 1 Queen. Cable TV, DVD, VCR and Internet.

The Galena Territories is home to 6,800 acres of natures beauty. With in the territories there are four golf courses, hiking trails, boating, fishing, horseback riding, cross country skiing, restaurants, spa and general store. Five miles down route 20 is the historic town of Galena which offers a variety of fine dining and shopping. Conveniently located near Chestnut Mountain for skiing. The city of Dubuque is 30 minutes away and offers river boat cruises, dog tack, casino, water-park, theaters and Museum.

We have rented other vacation homes in different parts of the USA, but this by far was the best. The house was amasingly clean and welcoming. Everything that was listed that was included was there and in working condition. We were the end unit and set in a wooded area which gave our deck alittle privacy. We used it as a home base for sightseeing and activities in and around Galena. WE had a wonderful time. Thanks

Excellent property, excellent area

We are 2 seniors who had the extreme pleasure of staying 3 nights at this property in August of '09. It is a neat, clean, modern, well equipped, wonderful place to stay. The Galena Territories are very picturesque with striking hills and clumps of forests. Galena itself is quite close, very welcoming, and has many very interesting points for sightseeing. Savanna to the south has a bridge across the Mississippi and Dubuque is about 15 miles from Galena.

The property itself is in a wooded area right off a golf course and is attached to 3 other townhouses. People occupied the townhouse next door while we were there but we did not hear them at all. We would recommend this place highly for anyone who might want to visit the Galena area or for any other reason. We were highly satisfied and impressed.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

What a lovely place ! Beautifully decorated and furnished, in a lovely quiet location. All needs met by very helpful owner. Highly recommended.

Girls weekend

I spent 4 days here for the country craft weekend. It was great. The condo is very clean and included nice amenities like shampoo (which I forgot) and coffee. I liked the bedrooms being on separate floors because we had some snorers with us! I would definitely recommend staying here.
