Or you may prefer to venture out into the local area for commercial enterprises like jet skiing, parasailing, charter boat fishing, scuba diving or climbing Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes in Empire. Lake Michigan beckons with tons of fun just waiting to be found.

As the day winds down take in the spectacular sunset over Lake Michigan, then head down to the beach to toast marshmallows under the starry sky. Away from the bright city lights the sky comes alive with thousands of twinkling stars, and occasionally the Northern Lights will be visible!

Description Of Property: This home is furnished with antiques which gives it a cozy ambiance; the 8 ft farmhouse table comfortably seats ten or use the other small tables located in the dining area for extra seating. The house is set on a beautiful wooded dune with 19 steps leading from the large lighted parking area down to the house & another 18 steps takes you down to the bottom of a small dune; it takes about 25 small steps to get to the top of the dune & then it gently slopes down to the water. There is a wide spacious beach with a fire pit right on the beach.

The house is surrounded by woods just waiting to be explored. From the front deck which faces west, you have a spectacular view of North Manitou Island & North and South Fox Islands & you'll enjoy watching the freighters which constantly ply these waters.
