Furnished with games, books, DVDs, etc.
Dining area has large table seating 8, located adjacent to newly appointed kitchen, w/ countertop stove, oven, d/w, refrig/icemaker,m/wave, granite countertops, serving island,all furnished. New gas grill on front deck for outside BBQ.
3 Bedrooms. Master Bedroom has queen sized bed; private full bath; TV/VCR; ceiling fan; and private back deck looking towards Gothic Mt. 2nd. BR has double bed and 3rd BR has 2 singles; both share full bath. With convertible Queen bed in Living Rm., condo comfortably sleeps 8. Unit has a full sized washer and dryer adjacent to BRs, so don't bring a ton of clothes.
Condo has private garage below with automatic garage door opener for dry/warm storage of your vehicle, and as convenient place to stow skis, snowboards, bikes, luggage, boots. Ample additional parking outside garage and to side of condo.
For recreation, ski lifts are just a 5 minute downhill walk from your front door. Better yet, take free shuttle buses from your condo parking lot to the ski base or to downtown Crested Butte and return. They run every 15 minutes. Most guests park their car in the garage and never move it. Fantastic biking also available from your garage door. With secure locked garage on ground floor no need to lug equipment up to the condo.
After skiing, hiking or mountain biking, enjoy an outdoor hot tub behind your condo building. It has shower and changing areas, plus gas grill and vending machines. Next to the hot tub area is a nice ourdoor tennis court exclusively for condo complex occupants.
Condo is geared toward family use. We require adults over 25 years as signatories. NO SMOKING in condo, hallways or on decks. Quiet after 10 p.m. No pets please.
We are a retired couple who live in Cedaredge, CO., which is about 85 miles due west of Crested Butte over Kebler Pass. (In winter Kebler is closed so we drive 130 miles to reach Crested Butte.)We enjoy our condo very much in both winter and summer and use it frequently and have it available to our children and grandchildren. On occasion when we are not using it we consider renting it to responsible families.
Crested Butte is the most beautiful area in Colorado, bar none. It is the wildflower capital of Colorado and has wilderness in all directions. In winter the snow and beautiful mountains all around are absolutely untouched. In summer we hike and bike all the trails around CB and in winter we have Mt. Crested Butte downhill ski area plus cross country skiing and sledding.
Benefits of our condo: We have a spectacular view of Mt. Crested Butte from our living room windows and deck. Also have unobstructed views of the mountains to the north toward Gothic and of the mountains to the west viewable from a 2nd. private rear deck off the master BR.
When we are at the condo to ski in the winter, we park our car in the heated garage below, to keep it dry and warm. We also store all our skis, poles, boots, etc. in the garage. To ski, just walk out the garage and catch the free shuttle to the base of the ski area (every 15 minutes). Bus returns on same schedule, takes 5 minutes. In summer, store your bikes, packs, gear, etc. in the garage for convenience rather than carry upstairs.
Plenty of room in the condo for up to 8 adults. Has 1300 sq. ft. Furnished very comfortably.
