Beach and beach services: Beach service is available from March - November at very reasonable daily or weekly rates. Destin Towers is a low density condominium and owns the Gulf-front beach. There are only 45 units in Destin Towers, and only about half of them are available for rental, so the common areas are uncrowded, and you won't have to jostle to get that 'front row' beach spot. Also, with two elevators, you won't be wasting valuable vacation time waiting for an elevator.

This is a non-smoking condominium. No pets are allowed. Minimum age for renters is 25 years old.

DESTIN — What Emerald Coast residents have known for years has been confirmed with the Travel Channel’s online poll for the Best Family Beach of 2013.

The Destin area received 43 percent of the votes cast for the best beach destination for a family. Also in the running were the Outer Banks, N.C., Paradise Island in the Bahamas and Cape Cod, Mass.

“This didn’t just happen,” said Dan O’Byrne, director of Okaloosa County’s tourist development department. “The focus on the family is in our DNA. Our attributes are self- evident from our accommodations, our beaches, our people. We’ve been the family vacation spot for decades.

Once you spend any time visiting Destin, you yearn to own a piece of its beauty. We were looking for a property in 2004, but were very frustrated. Then our realtor discovered that the contract to purchase this Penthouse unit, now called Villa Champagne, had fallen through. When we first saw the unit, we decided to buy this beautiful condo, right on the Gulf of Mexico, with TWO balconies facing the beautiful Destin beach and the Gulf.

What makes this condo unique

This is a Penthouse unit, with 9 foot ceilings, a spacious kitchen, and plenty of space for everyone. Destin Towers could not be in a more convenient, central location. Destin Towers is one of the very few condominiums located directly on the beach and Gulf, yet also located on the main thoroughfare in Destin, Highway 98 East (also known as Emerald Coast Parkway). However, it is set far away from the main highway by a lengthy driveway (300+ yards). Destin Towers is a low-density condo complex with a large beach, meaning you will have plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the Destin beach. There is nothing except our beautiful pool and spa between you and Destin Towers private beach walkover.

Villa Champagne is located on the 15th floor, offering sweeping and panoramic views of the Destin Beach and Gulf from the two large Gulf-front balconies. On the Penthouse levels, there are only two units per floor for maximum privacy. The floor plan was brilliantly designed, giving the feel of a home, not the long 'corridor' style seen in many other beach condos.

Villa Champagne has been tastefully decorated in keeping with the high level of luxury and prestige fitting for a beach-front penthouse.

I have been to Destin several times and stayed at another penthouse and a few other condos/hotels. However, this property is by far my favorite!! The view is absolutely amazing and the rooms are so spacious! We had a difficult time finding a condo with plenty of space in the bedrooms but this one is perfect. The master shower is incredible.. wow!!! The owners were absolutely wonderful, friendly, accommodating and the whole process of renting the condo was so much easier than going through a service.

I cannot wait to schedule our next trip- we will never stay anywhere else in Destin!

We stayed here and the place was absolutely fabulous. There are no words to really describe the gorgeous ocean views. We stayed here our family and some extended family and there was plenty of room for everyone, including wheelchair access. This is the perfect vacation condo and the owners were great. We would recommend this to any family anywhere, it works perfectly and its worth every penny!

We can not say enough good things about Villa Champagne. This condo is the BEST that we have ever stayed in the Destin area. The condo is decorated beautifully, the views are magnificent, and the comfort of this condo is 100%. The Champagnes have done such a wonderful job in making this feel not like a condo but like a home. It has everything you could possibly want or require. A lot of thought has gone into the outfitting of this condo. It is centrally located to just about anything you would want to do in Destin. The condo was everything in the description and so much more. It was spacious and tastefully decorated, clean and equipped with whatever we could have needed. The master suite with LARGE walk-in shower and private balcony was to die for. The kitchen was stocked with lots of extras. And, of course, the view from the balconies was beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Perfection.. Everyone will enjoy their stay at the Villa Champagne. Easy to make your reservation with. Best of all the condo.. even with 6 adults and two toddlers.. there was plenty of room. The Villa Champange was unbelievable. When we first arrived the condo took our breath away with the great views of the coast and how beatiful everything was. The master BR was so nice we had to draw names on who would stay in the room. All of the 3 BR are great. Thanks to the Champangnes for having such a wonderful place that we were able to enjoy. Our first time in Destin; and we couldn't have
stayed in a better place. Villa Chamgagne is
unbelievable gorgeous. We were hooked once we
saw the pictures on the Internet, and we were not
disappointed. Our vacation was from mid February
to mid March, so we missed most of the "spring
break" crowd. The beach was quiet and the weather
was perfect--a winning combination. We both rate
this penthouse suite two thumbs way up.
