Wonderful Weekend!

Jan and Keith,
Our visit to your property concluded yesterday morning and I wanted to quickly convey to you how much fun we had. The screened-in porch at Creekside is amazing and we spent hours and hours there playing cards listening to the creek babble. We did both the hikes from the map and enjoyed both. Having the separate sleeping quarters at the house allowed those of us who get up too early to ease on up to Creekside to make coffee. We had everything we needed and found it easy to clean up as we headed out.

Mountain Retreat

Five seniors and their canine companions just enjoyed a wonderful week at Mountain High and Creekside.The amenities provided by the owners were numerous and thoughtful. The two houses were cozy and comfortable with well stocked kitchens. The location was perfect. It was easy to hike off the Blue Ridge Parkway or dash into Asheville for sightseeing and shopping. The homes were perfect places to unwind and relax in the evenings. We especially enjoyed dining at the Mt. Pisgah Inn and other dining options in Asheville. We have already recommended this Mountain Retreat to family and friends.

Thanks so much for sharing your home with my family! It was a perfect family retreat for my husband and our 4 adults kids and their families.
We loved the creek side porch for family meals and evening card games. Our granddaughters enjoyed playing in the creek, catching fire flies, &
pitching a play tent in the yard. Day trips to Asheville, watching sunsets on the parkway, hikes & time in the hot tub all made for a wonderful week of memories.
We look forward to returning in the fall when we can enjoy the fire pit by the creek.

Family Vacation to be remembered

We had an amazing first visit to the Asheville area. We are so happy we "stumbled" upon your listing. Our family of 7 (with 3 teenagers and 2 twenty's along with their 50 something parents) had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful, very well maintained. The hot tub was extremely popular and the creekside unit gave our 20's children a place to stay that felt private. . .One of my favorite locations was the screened in porch where we shared breakfast together each morning. I enjoyed sitting and reading early in the morning before the family got up on the porch also. The fireplaces warmed us up nicely on some chilly nights. We were conveniently located to the Biltmore, downtown Asheville, the Mt. Pisgah Inn which was amazing and great horseback riding, along with amazing hiking. Yes, we squeezed all of that into our 5 days! We put this on our "will definitely return to" list.

Your home in the mountains was everything (and more) we could have hoped for….!
It was so private – and quiet. A great gathering place for our all-female-cousin reunion. As we had the ‘girls’ come from all over the country, the close proximity to the airport – was ideal - not to mention the Biltmore and shopping in Asheville – all 30 minutes away – which was GREAT.
THE BEDS…including the trundles – were all VERY comfortable. The BEST part of your entire home, however, was the porch on Creekside. We spent all our evenings on the porch – the large table and chairs accommodated all 11 of us. The grill proximity to the table was also special. Because we so enjoyed the porch – we never used the Jacuzzi or the fire pit.
I have already recommended this property …truly felt like a home … property sounds sterile. The house(s) were clean – and well-equipped…– Pots of all sizes!. You thought of everything – including nightlights strategically placed throughout the rooms.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful, peaceful home at Mountain High and Creekside with guests. The accommodations worked out perfectly! Everyone bragged about how comfortable their beds were and my dad said it was the best night’s sleep he has gotten in a long time. The screened in porch at Creekside was the favorite gathering spot of the whole clan and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The homes were everything the listing promised and much more. Everyone wants to come back!

We had a wonderful time. Your houses were perfect for us and had everything we needed. We had 4 adults and 4 teenagers and it was perfect. The kids loved Creekside and all it had to offer.Again thanks for everything. We hope to return.

Yes...before we'd built our rustic log cabin in North Alabama, so I could have "borrowed" some of your clever and creative decorations and furnishings! In fact, I am going to sew curtains for my sunporch like the pullup(Roman shades)in your cabins. In spite of the weather, we enjoyed the quiet environment, the cozy fireplaces and comfortable rocking chairs. There's no way anyone could leave your property without regretting the end of a restful vacation.Thanks for making this possible. Robin

WE had a great time. Love the place! Property was in great shape. Very inviting cozy, clean. Did not feel like a rental! Love both cabins we referred to them as the cozy cabin and the kids cabin. Love the porch and the wonderful creek effect as well as the firepit. Enjoyed a hike and the hot tub and great time overall. Would definitely come back. Thanks for everything.

Jan, I can't thank you enough for letting us rent your beautiful mountain home. We had such a wonderful time. The daughters especially liked having Creekside all to themselves!
All of us slept so comfortably in the beds and the main house was so cozy. We had a wonderful time in Asheville seeing the Biltmore, having a spa day and enjoying a delicious brunch today at Tupelo Honey.Again, thank you so much for letting us enjoy your lovely home, i want to dream of hearing the creek!
