All I have to say is I can't wait to go back! This condo and it's location is perfect! My husband and two sons (4 1/2 and 7 months) stayed 8 nights and were very comfortable here. The beds are really comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and big. I love that it was on the first floor because my son could run in and out onto the lawn whenever he wanted. The sunsets are beautiful and the view overall is gorgeous! The walk to the pool was less than 5 minutes. The pool was great and the food at the restaurant was really good! This condo was seriously such a great location because for one it has complete ocean views, it is really comfortable, close to the pool and restaurant (which most condo complexes don't have), close to shops and other restaurants; I also walked over to the Hilton to check out the dolphins with my kids and they loved that! The owner is really responsive to questions and concerns was really nice to rent from. Everyone we met within the condo complex was super nice too! Our family relaxed so much at this condo...it was one of our best vacations!

This place is AMAZING! 25 Steps to the pool with a bar. Tennis Courts nearby. Leisurely walk to the Hilton Waikoloa and shops nearby. My wife and I could not have stayed at a better place.

Our three nights in the villa were excellent! The unit is clean, well-decorated and had everything we needed. The ocean view made for great whale-watching right out the back door. We loved sitting out on the lanai with our pina coladas and watching the sunset. The location of the villa was great for visiting the northern part of the island and many of the famous beaches. I loved running along the lava path that ultimately takes you to the Marriot Beach (it's also a nice walk). I would definitely recommend Halii Kai to anyone looking for a nice place in a great locatioin with the best weather on the island (so they say)! :) Hope you have as much fun as we did! :)

We arrived at Hali'i Kai mid January and were instantly impressed with the clean, well layed out condo where we spent the week. We walked through the condo and then straight out onto the fully equiped lanaii and were imediatly greated by a breaching whale! It was so amazing and the whale activity in front of the condo coninued for our entire stay. I have never seen anything like it the way these huge mammals jump, play and teach there young. This condo has a prime viewing spot.
The condo met our needs in everyway. The well decorated and fully stocked kitchen and great room provided a perfect spot for a meal or a place to plan the days activities. A short walk from the condo was a luxurious pool, spa, restaurant, and workout facility. One of my favorite activities during the week was just lounging with a book by the unique and peaceful pool surrounded by ocean. The friendly staff was always available at the pool bar to give good advice on a great restaurant for dinner or an exciting daytrip adventure.
The condo is in an excellent location for exploring the island. Right outside the door is a great walking path along the ocean and through lava fields, pass beautifull resorts, great beaches, and award winning golf courses. We were also able to walk a sidewalk about a mile or two to some great restaurants, grocery store and mall. While on our trip we took advantage of our rental car and explored some of the beautiful nearby beaches, views of the enormous Mona Kai volcano and a day trip through the quant towns of Hawi and Waimaa.
This was a really great spot to get away from it all and just relax. I would love to go back for another stay and already miss the easy going mornings, waking up with fresh coffee and enjoying the incredible view of the whales breaching in the distance!

The Pictures don't do it justice! Beatifully maintained with all the amenities! Picturesque, Peaceful, and relaxing! Enjoyed a day at the Waikola Hilton's Spa, just steps away! Lunch poolside - at the Hali'I Kai pool was awesome, the chef had been a cook at the Four Seasons...(I hope he's still there when I go back!) One of the prettiest places I've ever been too!
