My sister, her best friend, roommate, and I stayed in this apartment during February. Our stay could NOT have been any better. Gordon is SUCH a nice guy, and is willing to help you with anything and everything! He left us food, wine, beer, a laptop to use with free internet, and even a cell phone. The apartment was so clean and I would DEFINITELY recommend you stay here!! Although it is about a 15 minute walk to the city, it is SO worth it for what you get at this apartment for such a great price!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Staying in Gordon's apartment was a wonderful experience. He was very welcoming, explained everything about the apartment, and provided all we needed for a comfortable stay. Frig was stocked with eggs, milk, chocolates, wine, water, soft drinks, bacon...so convenient we never really had to shop. Bed is comfortable, apartment airy with plenty of windows, kitchen has every gadget you need, area is quiet and walking distance to Royal Mile, and near to bus stop. A wonderful place to stay at a reasonable price. Plus you have Gordon a phone call away if needed. Definitely would recommend.

Gordon has thought of almost everything. He is a warm and welcoming host and the accommodations are equally as welcoming. Our family stayed for three nights and did not want for a thing. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends without hesitation.

WOW! Gordon, your flat was by far the best experience we have had with VRBO thus far. My husband & I enjoyed 5 glorious days in Scotland, & would love to have stayed longer. Gordon was the perfect host, from meeting us at the train station upon our arrival to filling the flat with all the necessities. The flat is so cozy, well stocked, all we had to do was unpack! The location is ideal, far enough away from the hustle & bustle for quiet evenings, but a nice walk to take in the sights. It was so nice to have the complimentary laptop, cell phone, & garage space for our rental car. Gordon went far above & beyond our expectations & we would reccommend his little corner of Scotland wholeheartedly. Thanks again Gordon, & we do hope our paths cross again. (and now I know how to properly pronounce, Culloden!! :D Tom & Sharon

We could have asked for a better host! Gordon is
wonderful and so helpful, providing more than you
could ever need in an apartment. The flat is
extremely clean, spacious, and full of amenities.
Gordon even provided us with complementary food
for breakfast and wine! Would highly recommend
this apartment to anyone.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Gordon's place for 3 nights just after Christmas. The apartment was incredibly clean, well furnished, and stocked with tons of complimentary food items. The lamb stew in the crock pot awaiting our arrival was just perfect! Gorodon went well above and beyond any of our expectations as a host was also always avialable to answer phone calls during our stay. The mobile phone and computer provided was also a hugh plus. We would highly recommend Gordon's apartment to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Edinburgh. Thanks again Gordon!!
